Caitlyn Jenner Lied About Transition, According To Khloe Kardashian
Caitlyn Jenner has been one of the most talked about women over the last year. For what seemed like years, there was speculation that Bruce Jenner was going through a period where he wanted to be a woman. No one knew the extent of things, not even Khloe Kardashian and her family.
When it was finally announced that Jenner would be leaving Bruce behind and would be becoming Caitlyn, the reactions were incredibly mixed. As outsiders looked in, it was assumed that the Kardashians were up to speed with the transition and were supportive. As it turns out, that doesn’t seem to be the case.
It seems like when Caitlyn Jenner stepped out into the world, it was shortly after she told her family about what was happening. Last April, when Bruce Jenner sat down with Diane Sawyer and talked about his desire to transition, she looked significantly more feminine. While the world was clued in to what Jenner was doing, it seems not everyone else was.
According to People, Caitlyn Jenner repeatedly lied to the Kardashian family about what was going on. Khloe Kardashian has been doing press for her new show and is not keeping anything off limits. She described continuously asking Jenner about what was happening and not getting clear answers. When they were finally told, it was because Caitlyn was going to be doing I Am Cait on the E! Network. The Kardashians felt betrayed because the network and business people knew the truth before anyone their family did.
Fans watched as the tension between Bruce Jenner and Kris Jenner grew and their marriage ended. Keeping Up with the Kardashians chronicled their lives for several years, which never gave way to signs that Jenner wasn’t happy being Bruce. The rumors circulated for several months surrounding the transition, especially when Jenner’s hair was grown out. Khloe Kardashian insists this was not something that was talked about, which really hurt the family. Kardashian considered Jenner her father, and the betrayal was hard for the entire family to digest.
When questions about Caitlyn Jenner or Bruce Jenner came up before the actual transition was announced to the public, the Kardashians denied the rumors. According to Us Weekly, Khloe Kardashian said they denied the rumors because Caitlyn wasn’t being honest with them. They believed Bruce Jenner when he said none of that was happening when, in reality, he was already becoming Caitlyn. Essentially, it made the Kardashians look like liars, and their consent wasn’t even given. Fans knew there was some tension between Jenner and Khloe Kardashian, especially after watching conversations between the two on I Am Cait.
There is still great controversy surrounding Caitlyn Jenner. She is being hailed as courageous and an inspiration, while others are not understanding the praise at all. Many fans expected the Kardashians to give full support to Jenner, but after hearing what Khloe had to say about how it went down, the way it was portrayed on the shows seemed accurate. Tension also mounted between Caitlyn and Kris Jenner after the Vanity Fair article was released back in June. While Caitlyn painted a picture of how horrible Kris was, the Kardashians fired back for the use of a scapegoat. Jenner was unhappy as Bruce and took a lot of that out on their mother.
After hearing about Caitlyn Jenner betraying her family, some fans are upset. Khloe Kardashian and her sisters took up for Bruce Jenner when they believed the media was making up stories about his transition. When they were finally told the truth, no respect was given. After hearing this side of the story, many are calling Caitlyn Jenner a coward for doing that to her family.
