Kevin Hart Nike Shoes: Actor Debuts New ‘Hustle Hart’ Sneakers On ‘Tonight Show’
Actor Kevin Hart brought a very special pair of Nike shoes to The Tonight Show– his very own cross-trainers!
The 36-year-old comedian visited the Tonight Show to promote his new movie, Ride Along 2 starring Ice Cube and Olivia Munn. However, he apparently found a way to shine a spotlight on the special footwear that he wore on the set.
It did not take very long, though, for the Think Like a Man Too star to show Jimmy Fallon, the studio audience and at-home viewers how his particular pair of Nike shoes differed from all other pairs.
Hart began his “major announcement” by explaining his passion for physical fitness and helping other people to change their lives by focusing on fitness.
“First and foremost, those that follow me and know me, you know I take physical fitness very serious [sic]. I’m about a healthy lifestyle and recently I realized that I could use my platform for good. I want to inspire people and motivate people to become the best versions of themselves possible through physical fitness.”
Kevin Hart went on to explain that Nike played a major role in helping him to use his platform to focus on inspiring change and promoting physical fitness throughout the country.
“Nike and myself, we teamed up. We started doing 5K runs. We started doing these big cross-training events where I was the head of it… Nike said, ‘Kevin, we love what you’re doing because you’re bridging the gap between professional athlete and the person that doesn’t understand that there’s an athlete in them.”
Hart further claimed that he is the first actor/entertainer to have his own Nike signature shoe. He provided Jimmy Fallon (and the studio camera crew) with a close-up view of his red Nike sneakers by standing and squatting down on Jimmy’s desk.
The simple fact that Kevin Hart has a stylish Nike signature shoe at all is very impressive. However, an added bonus and highlight is the detailed design of the shoe. Quite a few of the inspirational quotes that he has shared via social media with his fans and followers have been printed on the actual shoe.
He also has two different color designs, according to Bleacher Report– one for each of his children. He made his announcement wearing the red version, but later wore the blue version of his Nike cross-trainer shoes during the same appearance.
For several months now, Kevin Hart has kept his social media fans and followers in the loop with every “Run with Hart” impromptu 5K run held throughout the country.
The stand-up comedian has posted numerous photos and inspirational captions about those runs on his official Instagram page, generating likes and comments from many of his 28.4 million followers.
As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Hart recently confirmed his August 8th wedding to model Eniko Parrish during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres. He also has two potential box-office hits lined up in the first half of the year.
First, Kevin Hart will star in the follow-up sequel to the box-office hit Ride Along which debuts in theaters on Friday, December 15.
He will also star alongside Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in Central Intelligence, which is currently scheduled for release on June 17. In addition to starring as a voice actor in The Secret Life of Pets in July, Hart is also looking forward to releasing another stand-up comedy film, Kevin Hart: What Now? in October.
With the potentially successful future release of his signature Nike shoe, Kevin Hart could very well be setting himself up for success on the comedy stage, the big screen as well as the world of fashion.
