‘Teen Mom 2’ Leah Messer Dumped T.R. Dues, Hoping To Get Back With Second Husband Jeremy Calvert?

Teen Mom 2 Leah Messer has been targeted with rumors regarding her desire to reconcile her marriage to Jeremy Calvert, who filed for divorce in late 2014, but are the reports true? Last year, around the time her divorce from Calvert was finalized in June, Leah Messer began dating, and living with, Theodore “T.R.” Dues, but instead of going public with her romance, as she’s done in the last, Leah Messer stayed silent, refusing to speak of him on the show, or allow him to be featured in any capacity.

So, what is really going on? Although a Hollywood Gossip report on January 12 claimed Leah Messer has split with Dues in lieu of her ex-husband, Calvert, that may not be even remotely true.

“[Leah Messer] has cut off all contact with Dues, as she’s hoping to get back together with Jeremy Calvert,” the site alleged.

However, after several months of dating, Radar Online claims Leah Messer and Dues are still very much together — and continue to live with one another and their total of five children, three of Messer’s and two of Dues’, in West Virginia.

“[Leah Messer] said they broke up a little while ago,” one source told the site. “She said it just didn’t work out. He wasn’t a good boyfriend.”

But other close to the reality star and mother of three claim the twice-divorced Messer and her secret boyfriend Dues are living “as a family with her daughters and his sons.” Leah Messer has three children, twins Ali and Aleeah, 6, from her first marriage to Corey Simms, and 2-year-old Adalynn from her marriage to Calvert. Meanwhile, Dues is father to 8-year-old Tyshawn and 4-year-old Angelo.

According to the report, the source claimed Leah Messer was telling conflicting stories because she was hoping to convince those around her of the split so that she would look better as she prepares to return to court in an effort to reclaim custody of her 6-year-old twins, which she lost late last year.

“[Leah Messer] knows it doesn’t look good for her to have a new man in the house already,” the source explained. “She wants to look like a stable single mom to the judge in order for her to get her girls back.”

In the last several years, Leah Messer has gotten married twice and divorced twice, so moving in with someone new so soon after the split wouldn’t look good to a judge — especially considering she and Dues are living together with the children.

As In Touch Weekly reported in October of last year, Leah Messer lost primary custody of Ali and Aleeah to Simms during a court hearing on October 13, but according to Radar Online, she will return to court later this month to readdress the custody of her children, and hopefully be allowed once again to care for them during the week.

“[Leah Messer] can’t wait to have her twins home more often,” a source said. “She’ll do whatever it takes.”

As a result of the most recent hearing in her and Simms’ ongoing custody case, Leah Messer was forced to have just weekends with her two girls, while Simms and his wife, Miranda, were left in charge of the girls from Monday through Friday.

Leah Messer and her family, including ex-husbands Simms and Calvert, are set to return to MTV for Teen Mom 2 Season 7 later this year.
