Khloe Kardashian’s Plane Makes Emergency Landing In Las Vegas

Khloe Kardashian has been busy promoting her upcoming talk show, Kocktails with Khloe, but on Tuesday she had to put some of that promotion on hold.

On Tuesday, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was aboard an aircraft that was forced to make an emergency landing in Las Vegas. Khloe did not reveal the reason for the grounding, but she did indicate that she and celebrity makeup artist Joyce Bonelli are safe.

According to reports, Khloe was traveling to New York City at the time so that she could continue her promotional tour for her talk show, which is scheduled to premiere on the FYI Network on Jan. 20. While in New York City, Kardashian was scheduled to appear on Good Morning America and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

After realizing that she would be stuck on the ground for a while, Khloe spent some time livestreaming on her app, where she revealed that she and Bonelli would not be able to leave Las Vegas for New York City until early Wednesday morning. Apparently, Kardashian didn’t really want to spend the night in Las Vegas, because her livestream showed her asking an airline agent if she could return to Los Angeles Tuesday night. The agent told her that there was a 6 p.m. flight leaving for her hometown, but it’s unclear as to whether Kardashian decided to go home.

Kardashian’s upcoming talk show has put her in the press quite a bit lately, as the 31-year-old reality TV star has spent much of the new year doing interviews and promoting for Kocktails with Khloe. Earlier this week, Khloe spoke with Catt Sadler of E! News about an array of topics, including Lamar Odom’s health, her relationship with James Harden, and even the relationship between her little sister, Kylie Jenner, and Kylie’s on-again-off-again boyfriend, Tyga.

Kardashian announced back in July that she would host the talk show, at the time writing on Instagram and Twitter that she was “excited to announce my new talk show Kocktails with Khloe on the @FYI network!! Can’t wait to show you all what we have in store for you on the show. More to come soon!” Khloe Kardashian’s Instagram post was concluded with a series of chickens and glasses of wine.

According to an FYI press release, “celebrity guests and friends will join Khloe in the kitchen and around the table for an intimate dinner party filled with cooking, pop culture, conversation and outrageously fun party games.” So far, the show has been contracted for eight one-hour episodes, according to E! Online.

The show premiere comes on the heels of a difficult year for Khloe, in which the KUWTK star saw herself tending to the health of her estranged husband, Lamar Odom, after Odom allegedly overdosed on drugs in a Las Vegas-area brothel. For months, Khloe spent uncountable hours at Lamar’s bedside as he works through his rehabilitation, and Odom was just released from the hospital within the past week. On Friday, Lamar Odom was spotted in public for the first time since his hospitalization.

Likewise, Kardashian also had to deal with her own health scare in 2015 as she recovered from a painful staph infection.

No one would blame Khloe Kardashian if she’s hoping for a better 2016. An emergency airplane landing probably isn’t exactly how she wanted to start the year, but with a new talk show and a popular app, things just could be looking up for Khloe.

What do you think? Will 2016 be better for Kardashian?
