WWE Rumors: Daniel Bryan Returning To The Ring — Teases Fans Online

There is no in-ring return that is more anticipated than that of Daniel Bryan, but there are times when people wonder if WWE will ever even allow it to happen. His injuries have kept him out of the ring for the majority of the past two years, and it’s a wonder when his time will come. Rumors have flown around for months now, but is he returning to the ring soon? He’s certainly teasing the fans that he’s on his way.

Monday evening, Bryan hopped on his Instagram account to make fans aware that no matter what he is told, he’s already going to be ready. He’s working out big-time and staying in shape for his in-ring return.

This isn’t the first time that Daniel Bryan has done this, especially in the last couple of months. Wrestling Inc. points out that just a week ago, Bryan got on Twitter to pretty much beg WWE to let him return.

All of this came about after WWE reported on the rumors that AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, and other Bullet Club members were possibly being signed by the company.

A lot of people are of the belief that he will be a surprise entrant into this year’s Royal Rumble, but that is far from confirmed. It’s expected that WWE is going to announce 20 of the 30 names for the rumble match before the actual Pay-Per-View. After that, the remaining 10 entrants are set to be surprises.

As of last night’s Monday Night RAW, there are just 11 names in the Royal Rumble match, and that includes WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns. Before that, there were only 10 but as reported by WWE.com, Brock Lesnar has been added to the fight.

  • WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns
  • Big Show
  • Chris Jericho
  • Curtis Axel
  • Ryback
  • Dolph Ziggler
  • Bray Wyatt
  • Braun Strowman
  • Luke Harper
  • Erick Rowan
  • Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar is a big enough draw for the Royal Rumble, but the surprise entrants into the match are who everyone is talking about.

AJ Styles and Luke Gallows could very well end up as surprise entrants in this year’s Royal Rumble. Cesaro has been said to have been making great progress on his injury and could return within the next month, so that’s not out of the question.

Sami Zayn, Bill Goldberg, Finn Balor, Samoa Joe — the list goes on and on, but fans really do want to see Daniel Bryan make his comeback.

WWE is keeping him quite busy right now with doing appearances and promoting things around the world. WrestleZone even pointed out that Bryan is even replacing Seth Rollins at a World of Wheels event on January 22. He will be at that event in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, at 6 p.m.

Now, this event is just two days before the Royal Rumble, but that’s still more than enough time for Bryan to make it back down to Orlando for it. If he indeed is returning for that PPV, WWE is going to do every single thing imaginable to keep it a secret until it happens.

Daniel Bryan feels he is ready, and some doctors believe he is ready to return to the ring. These social media teases may be a way to build up the fans or could just be him being hopeful. WWE’s doctors need to officially clear him for an in-ring return, and it may have happened by now, but with the Royal Rumble just around the corner, fans may know soon.
