Britney Marshall, a 14-year-old girl from Nottinghamshire, England wants to be the first person in her family to go to college, but her mom has (in her mind) more important things to save for, namely breast implants.
Britney is the only female in the Marshall family to not have a boob job. Chantal Marshall, Britney’s mom, told The Sun that:
“Britney is going through a funny phase at the moment and saying she doesn’t want to get her boobs done.”
While one might think that normal rites of passage for a teenager would be braces, make up, and finding a good bra, the Marshall daughters (plus mom) can boast huge, fake boobs, having had 13 surgeries between the five of them.
The Huffington Post reports that Chantal and her other four daughters have spent a total of £50,000 on their fake breasts, with sizes ranging from 32DD (Ripley, 21) to 34HH (Terri, 27). Britney, however, prefers to be natural. She states that:
“Maybe I’ll decide to get them too and start saving in a few years. But for now I want to focus on my school work.”
And her brothers seem to agree with her. Chantal Marshall admitted to The Daily Mail that, “Some of my sons think we’re crazy… They keep telling Britney she should be different.” Chantal also stated of her daughters, and Britney’s lack of interest in following the others’ footsteps, that:
“But I know my daughters, and I know Britney is no different from the rest. She idolises her older sisters so we’ve already started talking about her getting a boob job as soon as she turns 18. At the moment she doesn’t really have what I would say are boobs, so I would like her to follow in her sisters’ footsteps when she is old enough. I really love the fake look of my girls and I know that Britney will go that way when she’s a bit older. I love the idea of us all looking similar and glamorous.”
Do you think it’s right for a mother to push breast implants, or any other kind of plastic surgery, on her daughters?
