Rumors Fly Saying Selena Gomez And Charlie Puth Are Dating: Is It True?
The rumors are flying that Selena Gomez and Charlie Puth are more than just friends. These two have been spotted together, and now that Selena is seemingly moving on from Justin Bieber, everyone is wondering if they are more than friends. Hollywood Life shared that Selena and Charlie were seen flirting at the Golden Globes after parties last night. Justin Bieber seems to be heating things up with Hailey Baldwin, leaving Selena to move on to someone new.

A source close to the situation is speaking out, saying this relationship isn’t actually a relationship. Here is what the source told Hollywood Life about Selena Gomez and Charlie Puth.
“Charlie thinks that Selena is great, but as shocking as it might sound he doesn’t want to pursue anything romantically with her. They had a really fun time but hung out in a sea of people that it was mostly pleasantries and such and then they went on with their nights. No couple here!”
Selena Gomez was also spotted hanging out with Brad Pitt last night and she shared a photo on her Instagram. It looks like she was really enjoying her opportunity to chat with him and there doesn’t seem to be anything romantic going on with them. It’s quite possible Selena just had a fun time at the Golden Globes talking to all of her friends.
Rumors emerged in September 2015 that Selena Gomez and Charlie Puth might be dating, but there was no truth to the rumors back then, either. There were also rumors that Charlie was dating Meghan Trainor, but they also didn’t turn out to be true.
Before the Puth romance rumors, Selena Gomez was dating Niall Horan of One Direction. As of late, it looks like the romance may have been short-lived and they might have split up. They didn’t spend time together over the holidays. IB Times is now reporting that Selena and Niall are not dating right now. The two seem to have put a pause on their relationship or they’ve decided to move on. Here is what a source had to say about the potential split to Hollywood Life.
“Niall is happy to wait and not have her worry about things and if they hang out and hook up again he will be OK with the friends with benefits things as well. He is really taking things very well and believing it will all work out to his advantage in the long run. So they are not dating right now but it is certainly not out of the woods in the future.”
Another source spoke up to share more about how Niall is okay with his friendship with Selena.
“If it can only be a friendship right now he is happy with that moving forward. Niall believes that something can happen with Selena once they have better schedules to see each other more often.”
By these accounts, it would seem Selena Gomez just doesn’t seem ready to settle down right now. It looks like she is just going to enjoy being single for a bit. Selena always ends up going back to Justin Bieber, and it will be shocking if they don’t end up coupling up once again, eventually. Selena may just not be quite ready to move on or jump into another relationship.
