Millions starving in Africa, while in Spain they’re throwing food away

40,000 Spanish revelers have pelted each other with 113 tons of ripe tomatoes in the Bunol annual food fight, a ritual dating back to the 1940s.

I suppose it’s at least humane, even if there would be millions of starving Africans looking on in sheer horror…if of course they were ever able to see it
