When it comes to celebrities who achieved their revenge bodies by shedding pounds and toning up after a breakup, Kardashian sisters Kourtney and Khloe wrote the book — and in the case of Khloe, that’s literally true. While the estranged wife of Lamar Odom succeeded in slimming down so dramatically that she authored a diet and fitness book detailing her success, Kourtney also has provided details on her blog and in interviews. For Kourtney, it’s all about organic, non-GMO foods, reported NY magazine.

“I’m crazy obsessed about food,” admitted Kardashian. “I’m really into organic. I hate the whole GMO situation.”

Each day, Kourtney consumes one teaspoon of ghee, based on Ayurveda guidelines that claim it helps with removing toxins. She also works closely with a yoga teacher who practices Ayurveda as well, Leila Johnson.

“Everything she eats is very fresh, handmade, less processed, less garbage. We make our own roasted trail mixes. We use coconut oil, raw pumpkin seeds, and other nuts,” shared Leila.

In addition, Kourt is a believer in yoga after meeting her yoga instructor while doing a cleanse.

“Through that, I met my yoga teacher, who taught me her way of preparing food. We would do yoga for an hour and then she’d stay for another hour and cook with me. That’s where I got all of my rules. In our house, we do everything whole: whole milk and full-fat cheeses. And I use ghee and coconut oil for cooking.”

As for fitness, Kardashian shared her workout routine on her website, as the Inquisitr reported.

“I try to exercise 5 days a week. I usually start with a quick run or jumping rope to warm up,” added the co-star of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

In addition, Kourtney posts about her holistic regime on Instagram. She recently shared that she’s trying out a fitness tea for a New Year detox.

Khloe Kardashian Shares Weight Loss Secrets

In contrast to her sister Kourtney, Khloe focuses on eliminating a specific food group from her diet. And the foods that resulted in 11 pounds dropped in a month and a half were dairy foods for Kardashian, according to Us Weekly.

“I’m obsessed with cheese and milk, but eliminating them from my diet (I did it gradually) made the biggest difference,” she confessed. “In a month and a half, I lost 11 pounds just from not eating dairy, without doing anything else different.”

In addition to dumping dairy, the 31-year-old is a believer in drinking lots of water.

“I stay really hydrated by drinking five liters of water and taking vitamins every single day,” added the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star.

But it’s in the gym that Kardashian has achieved the most dramatic success, and her celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson is proud of her success, reported ET.

Also the trainer to stars such as Jennifer Lopez and Sofia Vergara, Gunnar praised his client’s banging body and dedication.

“Full on animal in the gym,” summed up Peterson of the reality TV star. “No complaining, no bitching, no kvetching. Just gets after it. The changes she’s made are incredible… her body is banging right now.”

To get results like Khloe’s body, Gunnar recommends combining cardio with strength training.

“Even if you’re doing what you consider to be straight cardio, if you’re on a bike for 25 or running for 25 minutes, drop down every five minutes and do ten squats, ten pushups, and ten crunches,” recommended Peterson. “Mix that into that same thing you’re doing and watch the results.”
