Lindsay Lohan Has An Alleged ‘Racist’ Meltdown As She Makes Movie Comeback
Rumors are swirling about Lindsay Lohan this Sunday afternoon. Reports are claiming that the troubled starlet had an alleged “racist” meltdown at a New York City bar.
According to celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, there are rumors about Lindsay Lohan and her sister, Ali Lohan, attending a bar in Manhattan on Friday night. The actress allegedly spat in a man’s face and made racist remarks — all of which lead to police being called to the scene.
Multiple sources told Radar Online that authorities arrived to the weird alleged incident that took place in the late hours of Friday night, early Saturday morning. They said that both Lilo and Ali were found hiding in the bathroom of the Vbar in Greenwich Village when the bartender asked them to leave the premises.
“They walked in off the street and made a beeline for the bathroom. They didn’t order a drink or anything. They were in there for 20 minutes and then the bartender started knocking on the door and asked them to come out. When they didn’t come out, he then asked them to leave and Lindsay became aggressive and belligerent.”
Another source remarked that Lindsay looked like she was under the influence of alcohol that night. But what really surprised everyone was when the Mean Girls actress made alleged racist remarks towards the bartender.
“Lindsay came out and her eyes were glazed over and she started yelling at the bartender — who is originally from West Africa — ‘This is New York. You’re not from here.’ What stunned everyone is when she was talking to him in a mock African accent and she kept asking him if he was from Ghana. It seemed like a racist rant.”
All the other bar attendees willingly watched Lohan’s antics unfold, but they eventually complained about the star and asked her to leave the bar. But Lindsay and her sister refused to leave. At that very moment, she allegedly spat in one of the people’s faces, according to one of the sources. A second source added that the entire bar yelled for the Lohan sisters to leave.
Ali was the first to leave, but she did try to creep back in, but quickly found that the bartender locked the door. Lindsay and Ali then pulled out their cell phones and started filming the people inside of the bar, according to one of the sources. Then Lindsay’s friend tried to enter the bar and started a fight with the bartender. Another person inside the bar tried to film their altercation, but Lindsay’s friend stole her phone and ran off with it.
Finally hours later, four NYPD officers responded to the scene and questioned Lindsay Lohan’s male friend. Shortly after the incident, Lindsay took to Instagram to share a Johnny Depp quote with her followers. It reads: “Just keep moving forward and don’t give a s**t about what anybody thinks. Do what you have to do, for you.”
Lindsay Lohan has been through her share of personal issues, notably from 2007 to 2013. Her long list of issues include arrests, legal woes, and rehab stints.
She also has been trying hard to make a movie comeback. According to the Korea Portal, Lohan announced on Instagram that she has started filming her first movie in several years. She wrote: “My first day on my new film!!!! Will be sending a sneak peek of my character this week.”
The supposed film that Lindsay Lohan will star is in titled The Shadow Within. But there are no recent reports about the film, and there is some claiming that the film won’t even go into development. Lohan also went back to her natural red locks in hopes of rebuilding her lost career.
In another photo on Instagram, she poses in a white bathrobe next to her redhead hairstylist. She wrote: “Thanks @stylist_ty for my color and my natural hair and finally my natural colour (don’t share it!) it’s #theParentTrap me #beORIGINAL #TheLittleMermaid”
