‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 6 Spoilers — Did Natalie Dormer Just Confirm The Return Of Jon Snow?

The biggest mystery surrounding the sixth season of Game of Thrones is whether or not Jon Snow (Kit Harington) will be resurrected. While a few spoilers have hinted that Harrington will be back in action for the new season, most of the cast members have kept spoilers to a minimum, until now. Natalie Dormer, who plays Margaery in the hit fantasy series, may have confirmed Snow’s epic return during a recent interview.

According USA Today, Dormer recently appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where she discussed her role in the series. When asked about discovering secrets about other characters, the actress told Kimmel that she avoids spoilers by concentrating exclusively on her script.

“When I joined them in second season, I was like, ‘I want to go back to just feeling like a fan.’ So I stopped reading other people’s story lines, I only read the scripts that are relevant to Margaery,” she stated in the interview. “So when the show airs, I’m sitting on the couch, watching it like you.”

However, she also admitted that her tactic does not always pan out. In fact, she was recently the recipient of a mysterious spoiler that left her truly frustrated.

“It’s annoying sometimes because I’ll be in the hair-and-makeup trailer and someone will show up and I’ll be like, ‘What are you doing here? Oh my God, you’re back?! I’ve got to leave,’ ” she added.

Was Dormer referring to a recent encounter with Harington? While it cannot be known for certain, it is interesting to note that Harington — as Jon Snow — has been spotted on the set of the new season in Belfast. At the same time, Dormer has been traveling back and forth between Belfast and Spain while working on the show. At the very least, this makes it possible that Dormer was talking about Harington in her interview with Jimmy Kimmel.

Meanwhile, E! Online is reporting that Dormer had another message for Game of Thrones fans who want nothing more than to see Harington make a return to the series. While she failed to release any more spoilers, the actress encouraged fans that their questions would be answered soon.

“We’re getting closer and closer,” she shared. “We’re months away now, as opposed to half a year when the questions started being asked, so the end’s in sight. April, guys. Hold on, just hold on.”

In addition to the encouragement, Dormer revealed a new spoiler about her character. In particular, the actress told fans that her character will be moving beyond her issues with Cersei in the new season. Exactly what this means for Margaery is not clear, though it probably has something to do with her prison time.

“I can tell you that Margaery’s problem is not Cersei anymore,” she revealed. “That is kind of a spoiler. I don’t think I’ve said that yet.”

Dormer made the comments while promoting her newest film, the Forest, with her co-star, Chicago Fire star Taylor Kinney. For his part, Kinney asked Dormer if her character kills Cersei via a prison shanking. In reply, Dormer stated: “If I could find a sharp thing in that prison cell, then yeah, I’d be doing that to a lot of people.”

Given Dormer’s recent admissions, it would appear as though fans can expect to see Harington back in action in the new season. Whether or not this means that his character is resurrected is yet to be seen.

According to TV Guide, the sixth season of Game of Thrones has officially finished production. The new season is expected to premiere at some point in the spring, though HBO has not released an official date.
