‘Dancing With The Stars’ Dancer Julianne Hough Makes Secret Phone Sex Confessions

Julianne Hough has her own ambitions, beyond Dancing with the Stars, and, while they do include careers as both a singer and an actress, there’s one performance that Hough will never nail.

Apparently, Julianne can’t keep a straight face while engaging in phone sex with her boyfriend and after several failed attempts, the hopeful actress admits that professional phone sex operators should be commended for their skills. Apparently, no one has told Julianne that being an actress means she might have to play a phone sex operator one day.

Hough, who is currently engaged to Washington Capitals hockey player Brooks Laich, admits she’s really bad at phone sex.

“I’ll get halfway through and start laughing,” Julianne Hough said of her past phone sex experiences. “It’s an art. I applaud people who are good at it. They need to come and help me keep a straight face.”

Dancing With The Stars Has Been A Curse For Julianne Hough

While Ms. Hough may not be qualified for a career as a phone sex worker, she’s certainly ambitious enough in other areas of the entertainment industry. Her tour on Dancing with the Stars nabbed her two titles and made her one of the most popular dancers to take the floor. Even though her participation on Dancing with the Stars launched her to fame, Hough almost sounds resentful as she expresses her desire to explore other avenues of creative expression.

Julianne had not planned on the success she earned on Dancing with the Stars, but had joined up with the show in the hopes that it would bring more exposure to her music career. In 2008, Ms. Hough released a self titled country album that reached number 3 on the U.S. charts.

“If someone told me they hadn’t seen Dancing with the Stars, I would say, ‘Oh, good!'” Julianne told Cosmopolitan in an interview. “Everything I was getting was amazing, but I felt like, I’m so much more than this. I want to be respected as a singer and an actress.”

As for her acting ambitions, Ms. Hough seems to have gotten a start on that already. She starred in the 2011 reboot of Footloose and in Safe Haven, a 2012 romantic drama. On January 31, Julianne will combine her talents for singing, dancing, and acting, as she stars as Sandy in the live FOX production of Grease.

It seems Hough is cursed with the kind of attention she just doesn’t want. In addition to her Dancing with the Stars fame, Julianne also made headlines with her split from Ryan Seacrest. The couple called it quits after three years of dating and the dancer says the most infuriating part of the break up was having to listen to everyone’s opinion of her state of mind.

“At the time, I was constantly running and touring, which sometimes looked like I was totally fine and couldn’t care less, which wasn’t the truth.”

Julianne has recovered nicely, having found a much better relationship with Brooks Laich. When asked about her relationship with the hockey player, Ms. Hough says fate brought them together. She describes working on a horror film with Teddy Sears, which was never released.

I’m convinced the only reason I was meant to do that movie was to meet my fiancé,” Julianne Hough said of the experience.

The Dancing with the Stars celebrity then goes on to explain that Teddy had also been friends with Brooks, who had seen Hough in a Juicy Fruit commercial, and commented to Sears on how attractive he thought she had been in the ad. Teddy helped fate along by introducing Brooks and Julianne. The rest is history.
