‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Billy’s Condition Worsens, Stitch Scrambles To Find Max, And Adam Plays Double-Agent

Fans may want to brace themselves for more heartbreak as The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Friday’s show will be a tough one. Billy is battling for survival, but his condition is quite grave. In addition, Ben and Abby have learned that Jenna died in a car accident and now Max has disappeared. Where are things headed in the January 8 episode?

According to She Knows Soaps, Stitch and Abby will be frantic to find Max. As viewers saw on Thursday, he slipped away when the newlyweds stepped away for a moment to talk. Dylan and Paul will join Abby and Stitch as they search, and Young and Restless spoilers detail that both the newlyweds will feel guilty for Max’s disappearance.

The doctors are sharing that Billy had a cardiac arrest during his surgery and sadly he has little brain activity. At this point, Jill learns, there is nothing that can be done other than hope and wait. This will leave Victoria wondering if they should have tried Dr. Neville’s protocol after all.

Both Jack and Victor have been trying to connect with Kevin to invest in his project. Young and Restless spoilers detail that the two men will bicker in Friday’s show over the pursuit of the opportunity. While Jack wants to invest on Billy’s behalf, Victor is trying to swoop in and steal the opportunity away from the Abbotts.

The Young and the Restless spoilers via Celeb Dirty Laundry share that Jack gets called back to the hospital and Victor pressures Kevin to let him invest after Jack leaves. At the hospital, Billy’s loved ones will learn that his situation is declining further.

Jack will wonder if it is time to let Billy go, and Victoria will note that Billy wouldn’t want to be kept on life support for forever. She says that they had talked about this type of situation back when Phyllis was in her coma.

However, Jill is adamant that she’s not giving up on her son. Victoria will spend some time alone in Billy’s room, begging him to wake up and return. Noah will be at the hospital, anxiously watching all of this. So far he has been convinced to stay quiet about the fact he accidentally ran over Billy, but will he really be able to hold back?

Max will show up again, and Ben convinces him to give it a shot in Genoa City with him. The Young and the Restless spoilers detail that Abby will voice some concerns about all of this to Dylan, as she will worry about the impact these sudden changes with Max will have on her marriage.

Viewers will also get some action related to Luca and Adam in Friday’s episode. The two men will discuss Marco and Adam will turn to Victor for information on Marco’s whereabouts. The Young and the Restless spoilers share that Luca will listen in on the conversation from outside the office, but he’ll be satisfied by what he hears and leaves before the conversation is over. As Victor and Adam continue talking, Victor will explain that he is happy to provide information on Marco to keep their plan moving along.

Victor and Adam will talk about how the Marco information will essentially set Luca up to fail, and Adam’s double-agent approach will get them what they want. Of course, Y&R fans aren’t so sure that Adam is ultimately in Victor’s corner on this battle, as he may be looking out for himself more than Victor or Luca. Viewers will have to stay tuned and see who comes out on top in this battle.

Luca will be noticing some close moments between Noah and Marisa, and Victor talks with his grandson and his ex about staying mum on the accident. Later, Luca confronts Marisa, and he tricks her into telling him everything that had happened regarding the accident. The Young and the Restless spoilers detail that he will talk about going to the police, but she threatens that he’ll lose her and his deal with Adam if he does.

The doctor will note that Billy is quite bandaged up after the surgery, and many Y&R viewers know that there is about to be a big change with Billy. He will survive, but viewers will be seeing a very different Billy Abbott as he recovers. It is not known exactly when Jason Thompson will first appear in the role, but it is expected to be within the next few episodes.

Can Billy change his ways after this near-tragedy? Will Adam really stay loyal to Victor, or is he planning a fierce attack on his father? Viewers can’t wait to see what comes next as the drama continues on The Young and the Restless.
