Kris Jenner Accuses Daughters Kim And Kylie Of Stealing Her Style
Kim Kardashian and her younger sister Kylie Jenner are certainly the two stars from the hit reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians who have become most well known for their striking ensembles on the red carpet. These two reality star sisters are definitely not afraid t push the fashion boundaries and seem to even enjoy giving onlookers a bit of a shock when they step out to unveil the form-fitted, sheer piece of the evening.
However, mother Kris has made known the fact that both Kim and Kylie owe at least some of their style influence to her. The Daily Mail shares Kris’ jokingly accusatory post that the mother to the fashionistas added to her her Instagram account.
“Kris, 60, is claiming their fashion sense is all down to her, jokingly accusing them of stealing her style.In recent years, the half-siblings have been spotted wearing vintage 1980s items from Kris’s closet to her delight.”
Jenner shared her enthusiasm for the fact that Kim and Kylie have chosen to recycle her own vintage pieces over the years. As the Mail shares, Kris captioned the Instagram fittingly.
“Love this!!! Always raiding my closet, lol!! Just kidding… I love that I can pass on some of my favorite looks to my girls!!! First pic is Valentino from 1984, bathing suit pic is in Acapulco 1989!!! #proudmama #recycle #80sstyle #styleisforever.”
Kim wore the Valentino vintage gown back in 2010 to the White House Correspondents Association Gala Dinner. It’s clear that the 35-year-old looked just as radiant in the gown as her mother did decades before her and signifies that well-structured designer fashions withstand the test of time.
Last August, it was the youngest Jenner who snuck into her mom’s closet to nab a vintage Body Glove bathing suit for a trip to Mexico, where she was set to celebrate her 18th birthday. At the time, Kris was unsure as to where the suit went, but when she discovered Kylie had borrowed the beauty of a vintage piece, Kris took to her social media to jokingly scold the teen. The Daily Mail relays the verdict from Kris’ past social media post.

As competitive as the Kardashians are with one another, when it comes to borrowing and complimenting one another’s fashions, they are supportive and on board. When Kim was pregnant with her first child, North West, her older sister Kourtney was happy to lend Kim some of her own maternity wear.
Kim admitted to the fact that borrowing Kourtney’s maternity wear the first time around led her to go the route of finding her own maternity style, seeing as fans and onlookers felt that Kourtney often was pictured wearing the looks better.
“Everyone used to say Kourtney had the best pregnancy style, so I would borrow a dress she wore when she was pregnant, and OMG it did not look the same! The side-by-side comparisons were just not good for my soul, so I finally had to figure out my own style that worked for me.”
Although all the Kardashian-Jenner ladies have signature styles, it is clear that Kim and Kylie are the two who put the most emphasis on that facet of their lives. Kylie likely feels pressure to always be on top of her fashionista game due to her successful website and app that are based on beauty and fashion. Kim is simply known to push the envelope when it comes to the garments she dons. Having a hubby like Kanye who is all about image, is likely a pressure point for keeping on point with her own style selections, as well.
Kim’s latest signature look- braids. As Us Weekly shares, the diva is keeping her hair in braids for months so it will grow and so that she can avoid putting heat on it. Let’s see what kind of trend the reality star will begin with this one.
