Miranda Lambert Rescues Boyfriend In Skiing Accident As Blake Shelton & Gwen Stefani Worry Miranda Seeks Revenge
Miranda Lambert has taken longer than her ex, Blake Shelton, to find love after her divorce. But now, months after her former husband romanced Gwen Stefani, Miranda is happily in love with her own musician boyfriend Anderson East, reported People.
There’s a small age difference between 32-year-old Miranda and 27-year-old East, but a recent post that Miranda shared, in which she cuddled with her new boyfriend, made it clear that age doesn’t matter when you’re in love.
Miranda and her new romantic interest discovered each other during their work on Southern Family, which is a compilation album. And it didn’t take long before they were canoodling on her couch and greeting the New Year at a ski lodge.
Unfortunately, it went downhill from there for East and Miranda, because Lambert’s new boyfriend was injured in a ski accident, reported the New York Daily News.
But the good luck came with the fact that Miranda was right there to help patch up his owies. The ski accident occurred in Aspen during the New Year holidays, and she was skiing with the former sound engineer who became a musician at the time.
“It was a nasty fall but Miranda was there and helped him heal, took him to get treated,” revealed a source quoted by the New York Daily News. “So it wasn’t quite the fun holiday trip they wanted, but they were still happy to be together and he’s really happy she was there nursing him by his side and making sure he was OK.”
Miranda and East have been together for about four weeks, and it’s been a boon in her desire to move forward after the pain of her divorce. Moreover, she and East share both career and passions. Miranda and her 27-year-old new guy pal both love to hunt and achieved their celebrity status through Nashville’s music environment.
Since the ski injury, Miranda and East have left the ski destination and gone back to Nashville.
“He’s been in a lot of pain but [is] going to rest and heal up now that they’re back home,” another source told Us. “It was still great to be together, happy and in love over the holidays despite the accident, and they are looking forward to a good new year together.”
Miranda and East, whose birth name is Michael Cameron Anderson, actually have been dating for several months but waited to make their hook-up public.
“The snuggle is real,” wrote Miranda in her caption for her proof of PDA pic on New Year’s Day.
And a pal of Anderson’s praised him as the perfect choice for Lambert’s rebound man to Us.
“She couldn’t have picked a better dude to have fun with,” declared the friend of East. “Anderson is the coolest guy.”
Miranda, however, apparently has not yet decided to just ignore what’s happening between her ex-husband and his new girlfriend. She caused Twitter turmoil when she began to follow Gwen on the social media site prior to posting her snuggle scene with East.
Shelton allegedly agrees that Miranda has developed an obsession over his new relationship. She reportedly has been texting her ex-husband in addition to following the mother of three on social media. Miranda even dyed her hair pink in a look similar to the pop singer’s previous hair fashion, causing Blake’s new girlfriend even more concern that Miranda has become dangerously obsessed.
“Miranda is taking things too far,” said the source cited by Hollywood Life. “First the texting, then the hair and now the Twitter incident. She feels like Miranda is almost acting like the Glenn Close character from Fatal Attraction.”
