Sharon Osbourne Kicks Man At The ‘People’s Choice Awards’ [Video]

The Talk co-host Sharon Osbourne wasn’t too happy when a man decided to rush the stage as she accepted a People’s Choice award with her co-workers on Wednesday night. The unamused Osbourne physically kicked the man as he begrudgingly left the stage.

People reports that Osbourne, 63, and her fellow co-hosts of the hit CBS talk show The Talk, were excited as they approached the stage of the 2016 People’s Choice Awards to receive the “Favorite Daytime TV Hosting Team” award, and they weren’t about to let anyone steal their moment. As the ladies stood happily on the stage, a young man, who isn’t a co-host and has nothing to do with the show, ran on the stage as well, cutting Sara Gilbert off mid-sentence.

“Wow. Thank you so much! This is amazing. I think we think of ourselves as kind of the oddballs of TV or we’re like a motley crew…”

Before Gilbert finished her speech, the man interrupted her to give a speech of his own, including a “shout out to [rapper] Kevin Gates.” Fellow co-host Sheryl Underwood called for security, but Osbourne wasted no time in taking matters into her own feet as she gave the stranger swift kicks in the behind with her right heel. As the man left the stage, Underwood let him know that he wasn’t ruining their moment as she shooed him off the stage.

“You ain’t gonna’ pull no Steve Harvey up in here. No, no sir! Back to your speech girl.”

Gilbert, a bit shocked by what transpired, attempted to finish her speech while co-host Aisha Tyler made sure the crowd understood that the unwelcome stranger was not a part of their crew.

“That guy is not in our club.”

Osbourne chimed in, telling the stranger to “get the f*** off my stage,” as her co-hosts laughed along with her and the outlandish ordeal.

Gilbert did finally get to finish her speech, and the appreciative actress made sure to thank the people who watch the show, stating that there is no separation between the hosts and the viewers.

“Anyway, we just want to say we don’t see any division between us and you. We feel you are so much a part of our show. We want to share this award with you and we’ll keep the trophy, but in spirit, we share with you, and we are tremendously grateful. Thank you so much.”

This isn’t the first time Osbourne has shown she doesn’t take kindly to disrespectful people. In 2004, the wife of rocker Ozzy Osbourne was so upset at her co-judge Simon Cowell during the audition phase of The X-Factor that she poured water over his head for insulting a contestant. Cowell responded by telling Osbourne a few choice words, but she took in stride, telling Cowell that “if you give it out, you have to take it.”

In 2008, Osbourne was at it again during the reunion of the VH1 show, Rock of Love: Charm School, after contestant Megan Hauserman accused Ozzy Osbourne of being a “brain-dead rock star.” Consequently, Sharon Osbourne attacked Hauserman by pulling her hair and scratching her, while the other contestants applauded Osbourne for her actions.

Hauserman, considered underhanded and emotionless by the other contestants on the show, later sued Osbourne for assault, a case that was eventually settled out of court.

Regardless, Sharon Osbourne remains loved by millions of fans across the world. Catch her and the rest of the The Talk crew, weekdays on CBS, at 2 p.m. ET.
