Teresa Giudice Spending Money, But Still Owes IRS $550K
Teresa Giudice is out of prison and living her life now. Everyone is watching her every move, and it is obvious that they are still spending money like crazy, especially considering that Joe bought her a brand new $90K Lexus that was waiting on Teresa when she got home from prison. Reports are now coming out that Teresa actually still owes a lot of money to the IRS. Radar Online shared the news that Teresa Giudice still owes them $550K that she is working on paying back now that she is out of prison.
This doesn’t mean that Teresa Giudice isn’t paying off her debt, though. The reality is that she has already paid off $414,000 in restitution to crime victims, but the IRS is still owed over $500K. An insider shared that Teresa is working on this debt.
“The primary focus for Teresa since being released from prison, aside from filming Real Housewives of New Jersey and the family, has been getting her debts paid.”
Teresa Giudice is back to work right away and already filming. The show is her paycheck and a way that she can pay this debt off. Teresa is still under house arrest, but she isn’t just sitting at home either. Teresa has been spotted out more than once and can leave the house with permission from her probation officer. The insider went on to share more about how Teresa Giudice is making sure things are done right this time and that she doesn’t get herself into trouble again.
“Teresa no longer just signs her name on the bottom line of a contract or loan documents. The IRS isn’t something that can be dismissed, and Teresa is working with her attorney to get payments to the agency arranged. She would love to write one check to the IRS and have it over and done, but it’s just not the reality of the situation. The IRS will be paid, and Teresa will never get herself in this situation ever again.”
Teresa and Joe Giudice actually didn’t pay the IRS for nine years, which, of course, is not okay. Teresa seems to be doing everything in her power to make everything right again, but $550K is not a small amount of money to pay off. Reports claim that Teresa Giudice is getting paid $750K for her book deal and that, along with her Bravo paycheck, is going to really make a dent in this debt. Teresa seems to be working hard and Joe can still help out for a couple of months before he heads to prison himself. With all of her connections, it won’t be hard for Teresa to make extra money if she needs to so she can get this debt paid off.

Radar Online shared some details of Teresa Giudice’s house arrest, and one thing that she can’t do is go outside at night. Teresa is required to be at home then no matter what unless it is a work commitment and approved ahead of time. Teresa will be wearing her ankle monitor until February and has to check in daily with the company behind it. Teresa Giudice is also making sure to wear clothes that cover up the ankle bracelet, so she can’t wear heels and short skirts just yet.
