Kendall Jenner And Cara Delevingne Rumored To Launch Own Clothing Line Called ‘CaKe’
Kendall Jenner and her BFF Cara Delevingne can no doubt turn heads on the runway, and with millions of followers on their social media accounts, these two beautiful ladies are surely trendsetters. If the rumors are to be trusted, we can expect a clothing collection from Kendall and Cara in the near future.
Avid fans of Kendall and Cara already know that they refer to each other as “CaKe,” a combination of the first two letters of their first names. According to The Sun, the two trademarked the name CaKe last summer, which is most likely the brand name that they go for when they launch their collection.
The first glimpse of what’s to come for cake was seen in June 2015, when the BFFs watched Taylor Swift’s concert in Hyde Park, London. Cara even posted a picture of them sporting black CaKe shirts on her Instagram account.

According to a source, as reported by the Daily Mail, Kendall and Cara already have designs for some items such as hats and tops, but they still plan to expand their brand to include other items. The source talked about the duo further.
“Kendall is the driving force behind the brand. They both see it as a bit of fun but are secretly confident it will do well. They’re the two of the most photographed women in the world so the brand is going to be picked up by millions of fans. The ultimate aim is for CaKe to have its own stores in the UK and US.”
It’s interesting to see what kind of collection Kendall Jenner and Cara Delevingne come up with, since they are used to modelling for top fashion brands. Kendall herself is not new to the clothing business, as she and her sister Kylie Jenner have already released their own lines for TopShop and PacSun. In addition, as Pop Sugar reported, Kendall and Kylie launched their own website, Kendall + Kylie, where they sell their own designs.
Kendall Jenner and Cara Delevingne’s friendship started when Kendall started modelling a few years back. Since then, the two have been inseparable, as evidenced by the pictures they post on their Instagram accounts.
Rumors also suggest that Kendall is a lesbian and Cara is one of her close friends who has been helping her accept herself. A source said, according to the Mirror, that Cara “reassured Kendall that the stigma of being gay is gone and encouraged her to allow herself the freedom to be who she really is.” Cara is open about being in a relationship with Annie Clark, also known as St. Vincent. However, Kendall being a lesbian may just be a rumor, as she was seen vacationing with One Direction’s Harry Styles during the holidays, which sparked rumors that they are dating.
Kendall is certainly one of the models to watch out for, her recent big modelling gig being the 2015 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Cara also walked the Victoria’s Secret runway a few years ago, but she is now focused on her acting career. She has appeared in a few films including Paper Towns and Pan, and she will be appearing in the upcoming films Suicide Squad (set to be released this year) and Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, which is currently in pre-production.
As of writing, there are no details confirmed regarding the launch of the CaKe collection.
