Molly O’Malia: 14-Year-Old Says Tyga Sent Her Uncomfortable Messages

Molly O’Malia is the 14-year-old girl stirring up trouble for Tyga. Molly claims that Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend, 26, has been sending her uncomfortable messages online.

Molly O’Malia came forward on Monday during a press conference with her lawyer, Gloria Allred, after a tabloid report suggested she and Tyga had a sexual relationship. Molly cried as she told reporters that her relationship with Kylie Jenner’s man never went beyond social media.

According to People Magazine, Molly O’Malia claims to have ended the correspondence with Tyga after he tried to get the 14-year-old to meet up with him.

“The truth is that Tyga contacted me first. He direct messaged me on Instagram. I knew who he was but I was surprised that he was contacting me. I thought that it could possibly be about my music, but he did not mention that in his initial communication with me. I thought that was strange, but I was thinking he would bring that up in his next message to me. However, he didn’t mention it in the next message.

“I began to feel uncomfortable when he asked me to FaceTime with him. He asked me to FaceTime 3 times, but I did not do it. Because of my discomfort with why he wanted to communicate with me I quickly stopped responding to him. It’s crazy how so much can come out of nothing.”

So, if Molly O’Malia claims nothing inappropriate happened between her and Tyga, why is she speaking out? Well, the teenager says, “I don’t want what happened to me to happen to any other young girl.” Molly’s mother also criticized OK! Magazine for falsely hinting at a sexual relationship between her daughter and Tyga.

While it’s comforting to hear that nothing of a sexual nature happened between Molly O’Malia and Tyga, the reason for the speculation is likely because when the rapper, 26, started dating current girlfriend Kylie Jenner, now 18, she was underage.

Tyga stayed mum on the Molly O’Malia situation at first, but since the story has taken off in all kinds of directions the rapper decided to speak out via his rep. Tyga claims that he did, in fact, reach out to O’Malia, but not to pursue her romantically. Tyga says he was interested in her as a singer and wanted to meet with her about possibly signing her to a deal. Meanwhile, in the online messages obtained by TMZ, which purportedly show a conversation between the two, Molly appears to tell Tyga that she is 17 years old, lying about her age to the rapper, who tells her that he thought she was “way older” than that.

The rep also adds that Tyga did ask about Molly’s music and that he only wanted to Facetime her so that he could hear her sing and possibly talk business with the teenager, which, if true, should have probably been done by going through his people and contacting the girl’s parents since he knew she was a minor.

It looks like OK! Magazine could have some trouble on their hands though, as Molly O’Malia has lawyered up as previously mentioned and claims that the article, which alleged she was having an inappropriate sexual relationship with Tyga, made her the target of online attacks for allegedly getting in between Tyga’s relationship with Kylie Jenner. It could also put a stigma on her reputation if and when she does try to bust into the music business.
