Leonardo DiCaprio, Kelly Rohrbach Split As Model Gets Cast In ‘Baywatch’ Reboot

Leonardo DiCaprio and Kelly Rohrbach have gone their separate ways in time for the new year, awards season, and their busy acting careers. The 25-year-old model and the 41-year-old “modelizer” called it quits after just six months of dating.

An inside source told Us Weekly that the two actually split a month ago, and that their decision was “mutual.” It looks like DiCaprio and Rohrbach have split due their respective careers.

“They both have intense work schedules and a lot going on in their lives right now. They both needed to take a break because of that. They are still friends and talking, but it’s over.”

As awards season kicks off, it’s no secret that Leonardo DiCaprio will try to get that Oscar once again. He’s been actively promoting his latest film The Revenant, for which he’s already received Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild nominations, along with plenty of Oscar buzz. It appears that Leo wants to be taken more seriously as an actor, and the best way to do it is to slow down his partying and womanizing ways.

But not for long! After all, it’s not officially awards season just yet. According to Page Six, the actor has gotten over his breakup by having a group of bikini-clad women dancing around him in St. Barts. DiCaprio was recently spotted on Sunday, January 3 at Nikki for the club’s 14th-anniversary party. The actor was there with his friend Lukas Haas and was surrounded by plenty of blonde and brunette beauties, an alleged source told the celebrity outlet.

“While there was no particular girl Leo seemed keen on, the girls were trying their best – decked out in bikinis and all trying to act like the life of the party, dancing on tables and toasting with rosé. One girl wore a barely there star-spangled bikini in the pattern of the American flag.”

While DiCaprio partied away with the ladies in paradise, Rohrbach reportedly spent her holidays with her family in Greenwich, Connecticut. The blond bombshell has been trying to launch her own acting career, and it looks like she has scored some good news. Rohrbach will step into the iconic red one-piece swimsuit that CJ Parker (Pamela Anderson) wore in the upcoming Baywatch reboot. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson took to Instagram to make the announcement.

“For our #BAYWATCH and the iconic role of ‘CJ Parker’ I had to make sure @kellyrohrbach was the gorgeous running in SLO-MO.”

Dwayne then posted a series of videos of the model running in the sand. Some of the videos were silly in nature. In one of the videos, Dwayne is seen playfully pushing Kelly into the sand while they’re running together.

He jokingly captioned the clip, “For our #BAYWATCH and the iconic role of ‘CJ Parker’ I had to make sure @kellyrohrbach was…tough.”

In another clip, the blonde beauty jokes that she can’t even swim, while Johnson says that it doesn’t matter for her role as the sexy lifeguard.

“A pleasure welcoming @kellyrohrbach to our #BAYWATCH family for the iconic role of ‘CJ Parker.’ Yes, she’s a walking smoke stack but more importantly…she’s smart, tough and funny. Just the way we like ’em. Get ready world, we can’t wait to bring you our generation’s #BAYWATCH! You’ll have fun… (last emoji somewhat inappropriate)”

There’s more to Kelly Rohrbach than what meets the eye. According to Hollywood Life, she’s an avid golfer who’s very close to her family. On her Instagram page, Rohrbach is always posting photos of herself with her family while on vacation, out to dinner, or playing sports together.

She’s also new to modeling. Last year, Kelly was featured as a rookie in the 2015 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She may be a rookie in the modeling and acting worlds, but she’s working hard to get started. It doesn’t look like Kelly needs Leo’s name to achieve her Hollywood career.
