Lindsay Lohan Goes Topless For Instagram: Is Her Career Still In Jeopardy?
We haven’t heard much from Lindsay Lohan, so when we do it’s usually a big deal in the celebrity world. So, what is Lohan up to? Well, these days she’s posing topless post-mud bath for her Instagram followers. It’s not a news that many stars manage their own brand on different social media networks like Instagram and Twitter, but usually they’re promoting their work.
Instead, Lohan is promoting the fact that she’s still living a fabulous life. Not quite a reality star, and not exactly an actress, despite her attempts, Lohan’s Instagram is filled with selfies with inspiring and self motivated quotes. Basically, her Instagram looks like your friend’s feed.
For instance, Lohan’s most bizarre and one of her most liked photos on her Instagram features a photo of actor Michael Cera playing with sparklers on New Year’s.
Lindsay’s next most talked about Instagram is her recent snap of her topless after just bathing in a boiling hot volcano. The snap comes from her trip that she’s currently on in Costa Rica. Like most people on vacation, Lohan is currently documenting her experience from fishing to swimming in a waterfall with a male companion.
So, what’s up with the topless mud bathing photo? Leave it to Lindsay to explain. In another caption, Lohan writes as follows.
“Yes, volcanic mud to clear always the negativity, but you have to do it like this! And it’s awesome.”
If you’ve been following Lohan’s non-career, the actress turned troubled paparazzi star has had her fair share of negativity in her life. From her arrests to her disaster of a docu-series, with a handful of rehab stints, Lohan has overcome a lot in her life. That said, the Mean Girls star is not exactly known for her career anymore. Even her peers, like Academy Award winner Jennifer Lawrence, recently poked fun of Lohan on late night television.
As the Inquisitr reported, Lawrence jokingly compared herself to Lindsay while on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
“I got a stomach virus. I was puking and the poor guy—I had to make out with somebody—we were like spinning and I’d start puking and then I’d like do mouthwash and be like, ‘Hey, you ready?’
“I puked yesterday. I’m a puker. I’m a big-time puker. I think I have, like, nervous … I think that I don’t stop working, because I’m a show pony. I don’t have a choice. So, I just keep going, I think, until eventually my body’s just like, ‘If we don’t make her barf or pass out, she won’t stop.’
“I get, like, Lindsay Lohan grade exhaustion, but without any drugs or alcohol. I’m always in bed early, but I’m still tired.”
As you can imagine, Lohan didn’t take the joke well. She wound up retweeting a now-deleted tweet from her younger sister, Ali Lohan.
“I never breathe life into negativity but I stand by my family. Disappointed in Jennifer Lawrence. You lost a fan.”
Sounds like Lindsay is living the life despite her past.
