‘Teen Mom 2’ Leah Messer Engaged To T.R. Dues? She Speaks Out On Twitter

Leah Messer has reportedly been dating Theodore “T.R.” Dues since June, but she’s definitely not engaged. After getting word of rumors, which alleged the Teen Mom 2 star and Dues were ready to tie the knot, Leah Messer took to Twitter, where she shot down the idea.

Leah Messer has already been married two times, and been divorced twice, and she’s just 23. So, it’s no wonder she isn’t ready to walk down the aisle quite yet. In addition, Leah Messer has a lot on her plate as it is. Not only is the reality star in a new relationship, which includes Dues’ two sons, she’s also in the midst of an ongoing custody battle with her ex-husband, Corey Simms, over their twin girls, Ali and Aleeah, 6.

Leah Messer married Simms in 2010, about one year after welcoming their twins, but in 2011, after Leah Messer admitted to cheating on Simms just prior to their wedding, they parted ways. Since then, they have been co-parenting the children, but after Simms filed for full custody in 2014, he has been named as the primary parent, leaving him and his wife, Miranda, in charge of caring for the girls during the week, while Messer only has them on weekends.

In October, following Leah Messer and Simms’ custody hearing, In Touch Weekly reported that Messer’s parenting behavior had worsened after Simms’ custody filing, leading a judge to rule in his favor.

“[Leah Messer]’s really been screwing up since then, so Corey took her back to court. The judge looked at the girls’ school records, which show that they’ve been late for school, and made the change in custody,” an insider revealed.

In the same report, it was noted that a scary incident involving Leah Messer’s youngest child, Adalynn, 2, whose father is her second ex-husband, Jeremy Calvert, had led Calvert to consider filing for full custody, as well.

“Everyone is very worried about Addie. She recently wandered out of the house while [Leah Messer] was distracted,” claimed the family insider. “Thankfully, a police officer found Addie and brought her back home. If [Jeremy] can find [a job] nearby, he’ll go for the same custody arrangement that Corey did.”

Leah Messer married Calvert one year after divorcing Simms, but in late 2014, their relationship appeared to come to an end when Calvert tweeted, and then deleted, a series of messages, which claimed he had caught Leah Messer cheating on him with Robbie Kidd, the same man she admitted to cheating on Simms with. After filing for divorce one month after his tweets were shared, Calvert appeared to change his mind briefly, and on New Year’s Eve 2014, he and Leah Messer posed for a kissing photo, which she posted on Twitter.

While Leah Messer and Calvert appeared to be on the verge of a reconciliation at the time, their divorce was eventually finalized in June, 2015, and in the months that followed, Calvert dated a woman named Brooke Wehr. In fact, Calvert brought Wehr to Los Angeles with him just one month after his divorce for filming on the Teen Mom 2 Season 6 reunion. Since then, Calvert and Wehr appear to have split, but neither party has spoken out about the breakup.
