Gigi Hadid: She’s Only Getting Bigger

Gigi Hadid was in Aspen this Christmas and, although she was laying low with her family, she still looked for a way to throw her fashion into the mix. During a stroll through the city, the Daily Mail was able to capture Gigi in a leopard print coat and some casual Timberland boots. Even when the Victoria’s Secret angel is relaxing, it’s clear that she’s always aware of her appearance. However, is Hadid’s brother trying to start a new trend, or is he trying to show that not all of Gigi’s family is stylish? Gigi Hadid’s brother was spotted with her in ripped jeans and a hooded jacket. Not only do you wonder, “Why is he wearing ripped jeans in freezing weather?” but also does he even realize what he’s wearing and the impression that it gives? Hadid’s brother may not be on the runway all the time, but he must know that he will have a few pictures taken when he’s out with his sister. While in Aspen, Gigi was able to not only ski the slopes, but also spend time with her mother, who is battling Lyme disease. Hadid’s mother seemed to be enjoying her time with her children in the snowy climate. It was probably a great distraction from regular life, as she has just recently separated from her husband.

Not only is Gigi spending quality time with her family, but she is getting attention from a special someone as well. According to Just Jared, Hadid posted a picture on her Instagram feed of Zayn Malik, a former One Direction band member. His face wasn’t in the pictures and he wasn’t tagged in the post, but the photo was proven to be Zayn when fans of One Direction recognized his tattoos. Rumors were sparked the day before when Zayn commented that Gigi was wearing one of his old shirts in another one of her pictures on social media. It seems that Gigi Hadid is getting the attention of a boy most teenagers can only dream of. Unfortunately, it looks as though Zayn could not be less thrilled to have the Victoria’s Secret model on his arm. While leaving a hotel in New York City, the two were caught as Hadid took the lead and walked out with confidence and not a care in the world, while Zayn seemed depressed and sheepish. Could he simply be tired from the night before, or is he unsure about the brand new relationship he has gotten into with Gigi Hadid?

Now that the holidays are over, Gigi has a lot of work to do. Not only will she be continuing as a Victoria’s Secret model, but she is also creating a line with Tommy Hilfiger. At first, Hilfiger was going to use Hadid as his world ambassador, but then changed his mind and decided he would rather collaborate with the model. The collection will be called Gigi by Tommy, adding a new flair to Hilfiger’s numerous collections. The collection is Hadid’s style and mainly her ideas. Hadid is extremely excited about the collection and has stated that she has always loved the Hilfiger collections and is honored to be able to work with him. Tommy Hilfiger is most likely working with Hadid to boost his publicity and add extra flair to his collections, as we are starting to hear less and less about his collections due to up and coming fashion artists. By working with Gigi, a new and rising star herself, Hilfiger will be able to use a bit of the attention Hadid is getting to put himself back in the public eye.
