Alan West is right. A bunch of the members of Congress are progressives and socialists. And there is no working with them…their idea of "compromise" is to give them everything they want. It's time to draw a line and say, "No More!" LTC West has the strength of will to say just that…and probably way more.

I believe that there is something to what this man is saying. Obama is not for, we the people. Everything that he has done has done nothing but hurt our country and economy. I feel that we should boot them all out and start all over. There has to still be someone out there that can run this country the way it should be run, and keep our constitution alive. The way it is right now, we are losing all of our rights.

Its funny that you people think all the messed up things going on in this country are to be fixed over night. PRESIDENT Obama does not have a magic wand to rid us of all this economy troubles. Healthcare issues (no wait he did that) women's right to be payed equal to men (again he did that) Find the man who was responsible for 911 (WOW did that as well to) and the list goes on. What the president before has done was put our nation into a serious problem that President Obama is trying to fix. It takes money to do a lot of these things that our spoiled country doesn't have. We want things to change then a lot of it takes for the people to change as well..on ourselves.

He did not fix health care. In fact he left me without any. I am a cancer patient. He did not pass the bill for women to be paid the same as a man for the same work. He considers us as second class citizens. Our military found the man responsible for 911. No obama. Try talking to some of the military about our president that they work for and see what they think. Most of them can not stand him.

FIND THE MAN RESPONSIBLE FOR 9/11 (WOW DID THAT TOO)? really? um no I believe a group of NAVY SEALS did that not the president! The president just took the credit when he had nothing to do with it. Our president has absolutely no support for the men and women in uniform fighting to keep our country free and safe. Just saying. There are pictures of him not placing his hand over his heart for our countries pledge of allegiance and pictures of him placing the wrong hand over his heart on a separate occasion along with his wife both times. Name any other president who messed up that bad in the public eye… oh you can't because no others did. He does not show respect to our troops returning from war by saluting them as they get off the plane when every other president showed their respect and saluted our great men and women in uniform returning from war. Shows how much respect and support he has for not only the ones fighting for our freedom and our safety but just how much respect he truly has for our country in itself. I will admit he has great and amazing speeches but so did Hitler and Stalin and look what happened to Germany and Russia back when Hitler and Stalin were in charge….But ignorance is bliss as they say…

Oh and one more thing. Yes things can not be fixed over night however he has had four years to fix things and give us this change he promised…. hum well he has only spent more money and put us way more in debt and hardly fixed a thing in those four years. The only things he has put his complete focus on are things that will make him look good and make ignorant people think he is amazing… but look at the more important big picture. that is all….

Just because the president is the chief of staff for our military does not mean he controls it.. There are still other people his decisions have to go through regarding our armed forces. Like people who really mater because they actually serve or have served and know what we soldiers go through unlike our current president. And fyi just because he as you say "controls the military" does not mean he shows respect or supports our armed forces.

And none of our presidents are perfect. We are all human including them and last i checked the only perfect being that was on earth was Jesus. But my point was he has on multiple occasions showed how he really feels about our troops and country. I would understand one oops but once that one oops gets public attention then to make another big oops and another is not normal for someone who is supposed to care and support this country and those in it and those defending it. And he has disrespected and screwed over troops and vets one too many times.

Look, I for one have the most respect for what you and the rest of the military does to keep our country safe, as well as helping others who cant defend there own land. But didn't the previous president make you all go over seas to find weapons of mass destruction that were not there? Either way you look at it not everyone will be happy in everything a president does for his country. Honestly the whole system is messed up, I dont understand how a politician gets paid 250k, and the people like yourself fights for our country and barely gets money to take care of their families. He did NOT get up in front of billions on national TV, in front of a gigantic MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! banner, and pronounce to the nation "Tonight, I personally, shot Osama Bin Ladin in the face. Now Praise me!" Regardless of who controls the military, it took 10 fucking years. 10 long, drawn out, misdirected, wasteful, murderous years. What ever happened to catching the man, by any means necessary, in the first year or two? Did the war become to profitable?
Secondly, you attempt to draw comparisons between Obama and Hitler or Stallin. Maybe you should take a step back and look at who invaded another country, and who did it under false pretenses. The occupation of IRAQ and the occupation of POLAND have many similarities. More than you can draw between Obama and either of those men.

What if after 9/11 we just sat on our butts and did nothing to protect ourselves where would we be now. If we did nothing about the attacks then that would have been not caring because that would have shown we are weak and that they could attack us anytime and we would just take it and not defend our country. I have not been deployed but trust me i want to so bad so i can say i did something for my country over there. Because it takes a person of great bravery and pride of their country to step up to the plate and want to join to defend this country. And no he does not respect the troops. I do want to let you know the war did not start out because of weapons of mass destruction though it started from a day i hope no american will ever forget. 9/11 and defending our country from an attack that caused great distress in our country one of the biggest attacks on our country next to pearl harbor. I will always support the choice Bush made to not just sit back after the attack and actually go and do something about it. I sometimes wonder why it has taken 11 years but we will never know. i honestly think if it ended sooner that that we would have been caught off guard for another attack because the wars in the mideast are far from over. and i agree there are a lot of people who just sit and complain when they can get up and help do something about what is going on in our country. that is why more people need to get up off their lazy butts and do something instead of complain sadly america is one of the laziest countries and not the smartest either but if people do not want to do something about it and make it better we are doomed and it is sad.

Well, Obama has not had a 9/11 to deal with plus major hurricanes that slamed Florida and New Orleans and the stock market problems. Obama has had it very easy but still can not do anything to bring back jobs. All he can do is be very secretive and do things behind closed doors and spend our hard earned tax dollars and give it to lazy people that do not want to work. Just look at the people on food stamps and unemplyment and there are lots of jobs. It is just that these people do not want to start at the bottom and work there way up like my parents and I did. If you don’t get the difference between car and homeowners insurances and health insurance, you’re an idiot. With car insurance it is only LIABILITY that you must have, not FULL COVERAGE. This is because you could inflict countless dollars of damage to ANOTHER PERSON with your car, and if you do this without insurance you could ruin their life! Homeowners insurance is the same thought, but only if you have a mortgage. If you own your house free and clear you are free to not have insurance. The thought is that since when you have a mortgage the BANK owns the house, not you, if something happens and you’re not insured the bank loses for your irresponsibility. Healthcare is TOTALLY different! At most you can argue that all premiums go up some because of the uninsured, but this is spread out over ALL insured people, so it doesn’t have the acute affects that the other examples have. PLUS insurance will (and in some cases already has) go up just the same if not more once everyone has to be covered. So really, what has changed? Liberals don’t understand business and economics, so I don’t expect you to grasp any of this… As for the socialist/capitalist mix… Get a life! They took my medicaid away from me and I could not complete my chemo treatments. Thanks obama care. Walker asked some, but not all. Firefighter and Police were exempt from these stipulations. What makes them so sacred? And why shouldn't they have collective barging rights? People are trying to associate the Obamacare mandate with car and homeowners insurance. They are not mandated…yes you have to have them to protect your property and self from liability issues. Owning a car is nice but you don't have to have one. Lots of folks in New York city probably don't need or have one. Nor do you have to own a house, be a renter all your life; its your freedom and choice. You are not manadated to have the insurance if you don't own a house or car. We are being stripped of our freedom when we are told what we have to do. What's next?

Never once did i say anything about me not liking the military. I love what i do it is amazing knowing i am part of the brave 1% that help fight for this countries freedom and to protect this country when at war. I only said that our president lies and shows no respect for the troops the vets or this country. Work is not a form of slavery. You have to work to support and provide for you and your family. That is unless you are independently wealthy. You can not live on this world for free. I actually started working at the age of 10 earning me some little spending money. By the time I was 16, I was buying all of my school clothes and supplies, paying for gas in mom and dad's car and paying room and board. I learned responsibility at a very young age. I do believe that there is still slavery, but working a normal job to support yourself and your family is not slavery.

That is like saying if we don't like the way America is being run then leave. We are the Americans that live here. Obama may be an American citizen, but he was not American born. Forcing people to buy health insurance. Most people can not afford to turn loose of half of their monthly pay to buy health insurance. Considering that that is how much would come out of my husbands check per month and he is the only one working, because I have become disabled after a surgery for cancer, we can not afford to turn loose of that kind of money. He is having to cover all of the bills we had when we were both working. I don't like being without insurance. I have even priced private insurance and it costs even more. In the mean time I am fighting for my social security disability that I have been paying in since I was 16. I paid that money and it is mine. Why do I have to fight for it when I am disabled. Then there is a 2 year waiting period for me to get my medicare. That is still two more years that I will be uninsured. But people from other countries can come to our country and get free housing, free food stamps and free health care. What is wrong with this picture. I don't play the system for anything. I had medicaid, they took it away from me before I could complete my cancer treatments. To me that was the same as telling me to lay down and die. The obamacare insurance does exactly that. When you reach a certain age and you get a terminal illness, you will not get treated. This is not right. That person may still have a couple of good years left if he is treated. I do not want to lose my loved one this way. I don't want to lose my life this way. I want regular health insurance at a better price so that I can afford it.
