Kaitlyn Bristowe Wishes Ben Higgins Luck, Cheers On Becca Tilley And Amber James

As the star of Season 11 of The Bachelorette, Kaitlyn Bristowe knows firsthand the level of fame and affection, as well as scrutiny and criticism, that will come Ben Higgins’ way now that his season of The Bachelor has begun airing. Hours prior to the premiere of Season 20 of The Bachelor, Kaitlyn posted a message to her Instagram page in which she wished Ben and the contestants about to watch themselves on TV luck. Kaitlyn told Ben that he’s about to experience a “wild ride.” She attached a screenshot of her making an irritated face when she was filming Season 19 of the show, which starred Chris Soules.

“This time last year… Things were a lot different. Good luck to all the ladies crapping their pants at home right now about to watch. I’m sure we will catch a few of these facial expressions. And good luck Ben! It’s a wild ride. #TheBachelor #StankFace.”

Kaitlyn also gave some of her thoughts on the season premiere episode. One of the contestants, Lace, made quite the impression on Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn joked that Lace, who had one too many drinks on the first night of filming, should have a Fireball shot.

On a more serious note, Kaitlyn tweeted that Ben did great.

Kaitlyn also gave her picks from the pool of women vying for Ben’s heart. Kaitlyn tweeted that she loves Becca Tilley and Amber James, both of whom she competed with on Season 19 of The Bachelor with. Both Becca and Amber returned to the show for another shot at love. Kaitlyn also said that she’s cheering on Jami and Amanda.

After the season premiere, Kaitlyn Bristowe and her fiance Shawn Booth appeared on the after show, Bachelor Live.

Prior to becoming the franchise’s next star, Ben Higgins came in third on Kaitlyn’s season of The Bachelorette, behind Nick Viall and Shawn. On the season finale episode, which aired in late July, Kaitlyn sent Nick home and got engaged to Shawn. The two are still together. On Friday, Kaitlyn posted a photo of herself and Shawn to her Instagram page. Kaitlyn commented on what a crazy year 2015 was for her, but that the craziness makes sense now. She declared that 2016 will be a great year with Shawn by her side. Prior to starring on The Bachelorette, Kaitlyn was on Chris’ season of The Bachelor, which premiered in January 2015 and on which she came in third, behind Becca Tilley and Whitney Bischoff.

Despite both competing for Kaitlyn on The Bachelorette, Shawn and Ben became and and have remained good friends. As previously reported by The Inquisitr, after Ben was announced as the next Bachelor in August, Shawn tweeted Ben a congratulatory message, stating that he can’t think of anyone more deserving of the opportunity. Shawn even promised that he and Kaitlyn will go on double dates with Ben and his future wife.

In an interview with People in August, Ben Higgins called Shawn Booth “one of [his] best friends.” Ben also praised Kaitlyn Bristowe for how she handled herself when she was the franchise’s star and said that while he was falling in love with her, he later realized that Kaitlyn’s relationship with Shawn “seemed a little more right than [theirs].”
