‘Teen Mom 2’ Leah Messer Disses Corey Simms, Hints At T.R. Dues Split?

Teen Mom 2 Leah Messer is currently involved in a drawn-out custody battle with ex-husband Corey Simms over their 6-year-old twin daughters, Ali and Aleeah. As In Touch Weekly revealed in October, Leah Messer lost primary custody of the girls at an October 13 custody hearing due to her allegedly failing to get her kids to school on time.

On Teen Mom 2, Leah Messer’s parenting mishaps were spotlighted in several scenes throughout the series’ sixth season. During one instance, Leah Messer was seen arriving home with her children around 10 p.m., feeding them dinner about an hour later, and getting them to bed at midnight. Also during the season, Leah Messer’s ex-husbands, Simms and Jeremy Calvert, discussed her alleged drug abuse.

First, it was Simms and his wife, Miranda, who called out Leah Messer for allegedly hiding a drug problem, which inhibited her ability to properly parent their twins. Then, during a later episode, Simms sat down with Calvert, who claimed Leah Messer was struggling with a “prescription pill problem.” Although Leah Messer denied their claims, she later entered treatment, stating that she was suffering from anxiety and depression. Still, drug rumors swirled and only increased after she was seen nearly passing out while holding her brother Isaac’s baby girl, Bailey.

On January 4, as her custody troubles continued, Leah Messer took to Twitter, where she shared the following tweet, which may or may not have been aimed at her ex-husband Simms.

Leah Messer and Simms have been feuding for years, and during the Teen Mom 2 Season 6 reunion, fans were shocked when Simms revealed Leah Messer’s daughter had informed him that she was living with a new boyfriend. While Leah Messer denied the allegation all together, she and Theodore “T.R.” Dues have since confirmed their relationship with matching Christmas tree photos on Facebook, as revealed by the Ashley’s Reality Roundup. However, with a second tweet shared at the end of last month, Leah Messer hinted that she could soon be making a major move.

While Leah Messer didn’t say she was breaking up with Dues, that may be a possibility if she’s planning to move out of the home they currently share.

Meanwhile, Leah Messer’s behavior reportedly hasn’t been stellar in the months since Simms filed for full custody of Ali and Aleeah.

“[Leah Messer’s] really been screwing up since then, so Corey took her back to court,” In Touch Weekly’s source revealed of her latest court date. “The judge looked at the girls’ school records, which show that they’ve been late for school, and made the change in custody.”

In addition, the source claimed that Leah Messer could be facing a second custody battle over her third child, Adalynn, 2, whose father is Calvert. Leah Messer and Calvert divorced in June 2015 amid rumors of drug use and cheating, and now, they could be headed back to court after a scary incident.

“Everyone is very worried about Addie,” the source explained. “She recently wandered out of the house while [Leah Messer] was distracted. Thankfully, a police officer found Addie and brought her back home… If [Jeremy] can find [a job] nearby, he’ll go for the same custody arrangement that Corey did.”

Leah Messer and the cast of Teen Mom 2, including Chelsea Houska, Jenelle Evans, and Kailyn Lowry, will return to MTV for Season 7 later this year.
