‘The Bachelor’ 2016 Spoilers: Ben Higgins’ First Dates Begin As Episode 2 Brings On Season 20 Drama

ABC’s The Bachelor 2016 season has started, and Ben Higgins is looking for love. Fans are very excited to see how this season shapes up and everybody is hoping to see a magical love story play out. Viewers watched Ben meet his Season 20 bachelorettes in Monday night’s premiere, but what can everybody expect from Episode 2 airing on January 11?

As is typical with the franchise, Episode 2 will feature the first dates of the season. The Bachelor spoilers via TV Guide detail that there will be a group date with 10 of the bachelorettes, plus some famous faces in the mix for a couple of dates. There is an individual date in this episode, as well as a second group date with six bachelorettes. Ben Higgins will certainly have his hands full for this episode.

One group date will have 10 ladies facing off against one another at a school to earn a homecoming queen title. According to Reality Steve’s spoilers, the date was filmed at Verdugo Hills High School in Los Angeles. Steve’s Bachelor spoilers indicate that the women were put into teams of two, and host Chris Harrison acted as the professor.

The teams faced off in various subjects, and a team was eliminated after each battle. Reality Steve’s spoilers indicate that there was a science challenge involving making a volcano, a lunch challenge with an apple bob contest and a geography challenging where the ladies had to find states on a blank map. Steve’s Bachelor spoilers share that the ladies on this date were Becca Tilley, JoJo Fletcher, Amber James, Mandi Kremer, Lauren “LB” Barr, Lace Morris, Jubilee Sharpe, Lauren Himle, and Jackie Dion.

As the teams were eliminated, it came down to Mandi and Amber versus LB and Jen. They had a gym face-off involving throwing basketball free throws and Mandi and Amber won. Reality Steve’s spoilers share that they then had to compete against one another doing hurdles and Mandi won, getting some alone time with Ben. However, JoJo got the group date rose.

Caila Quinn got the first one-on-one date of the season and this one involved Kevin Hart and Ice Cube from Ride Along 2. Ben and Caila met up with Ice Cube and Hart and drove around for a while. Caila and Ben had dinner together and Bachelor spoilers indicate that she got the rose. The Bachelor spoilers indicate that at some point in Episode 2, Ben and one bachelorette will get a private concert with singer Amos Lee.

The other group date included Amanda Stanton, Shushanna Mkrtychyan, Haley Ferguson, Emily Ferguson, Sam Passmore, and Olivia Caridi. Reality Steve’s spoilers share that this was supposed to be some kind of compatibility test, at the Los Angeles “Love Lab,” and things are supposed to be a bit wild. Olivia got the first impression rose in the premiere, and Steve’s Bachelor spoilers detail that she wins the compatibility test and the group date rose in Episode 2 as well.

Four ladies, Lauren Bushnell, Leah Block, Jami Letain, and Rachel Tchen did not get to go on dates in Episode 2. Reality Steve’s Bachelor spoilers tease a somewhat controversial moment during the rose ceremony in this episode, as apparently Lauren Barr was offered a rose and declined it. Though viewers will have to tune in to see how it played out, it seems that ultimately the show wasn’t what she expected and she just wanted to head home.

Reality Steve’s spoilers detail that in addition to Lauren Barr leaving, Jackie Dion and Sam Passmore will be left without roses. This leaves Higgins with 18 women heading into Episode 3, which will air on January 18 and also be focused on dates in Los Angeles. Who will earn Ben Higgins’ final rose in Season 20? Fans can’t wait to see just how ABC’s The Bachelor 2016 season plays out this winter and everybody is hoping for a fairy tale ending.
