Miley Cyrus Bonds With Ex Liam Hemsworth’s Sister-In-Law As Reunion Rumors Swirl
Are Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth back together? We certainly didn’t see this one coming, but it looks like Miley and Liam are a thing again. If you remember, Cyrus and Hemsworth were previously engaged at one point. The couple became engaged back in 2012 after three years of dating. The two never made it down the aisle, as the pair decided to call off their engagement in 2013.
Fans of Miley thought the relationship was over for good, as the two seemingly moved on to other people over the past two years. That said, while everyone was busy celebrating the holidays, Liam and Miley were reconnecting with each other in a way that is shocking a lot of fans and media outlets. As the Inquisitr reported, the singer rang in the New Year with Liam Hemsworth and his family in Australia.
According to E! Online, the two were spotted cuddling and kissing at a recent Falls Music Festival in Byron Bay. Miley Cyrus wasn’t only making time to hang with her ex-fiance Liam, but she also spent some time with Liam’s sister-in-law Elsa Hemsworth, who’s married to Liam’s older brother Chris Hemsworth. As with a lot of her personal life, Miley didn’t hold back and decided to pose for a picture for Elsa’s Instagram.

Looks like Miley Cyrus still has the family seal of approval.
This hangout between Liam and Miley is on the heels of Jennifer Lawrence’s confession that she and Liam were a thing during one of the Hunger Games films. Perhaps a little behind-the-scenes inside info drove Miley back into the arms of her ex? No one really knows for sure, but fans are already speculating.
Fans of Miley and Liam are already going nuts about this reunion, and while we don’t know if this is romantic or if the two were just “hanging out,” some people are already assuming the best for this old couple.

Back in December, Liam, who’s the more private one of the two, opened up about his engagement to Miley after he had gained some perspective on it. The Hunger Games actor told Men’s Fitness about their relationship.
“You fall in love with who you fall in love with; you can never choose. I guess some people just come with a little more baggage. I mean, look — we were together five years, so I don’t think those feelings will ever change. And that’s good because that proves to me that it was real. It really was an important part of my life and always will be.”
Back when they first split, it was rumored that Cyrus’ racy and sexually suggestive performance at the 2013 VMA’s (foam finger and all) was too much for Liam to handle. Sources said that he was “mortified” by the twerking performance and that this was the main reason behind the split. That said, it doesn’t seem like Hemsworth had an issue with Miley’s very “out there” persona when he spoke to the fitness magazine.
“I think she’ll always surprise people with what she does, but she’s not a malicious person in any way. She’s a young girl who wants to do what she wants to do.”
Looks like Miley has surprised us all again.
