After a luff of a few months, terrorist organization ISIS (Islamic State) has released a new execution video in which five “spies” are executed. According to Yahoo News, the video also openly threatens Britain, and an English-speaking ISIS fighter is seen mocking British Prime Minister David Cameron by calling him an “imbecile.” We have embedded an edited version of the video at the end of this article. Update: The video has now been removed.
According to the SITE Intelligence group who analyzed the video, the five men in the video are first seen making “confessions,” agreeing that they worked with the International coalition fighting ISIS in Iraq and Syria. They also say they performed espionage activities in the regions currently occupied by ISIS fighters. The video is believed to have been shot in the city of Raqqa, which is widely considered to be the capital of the self-proclaimed Islamic State. The captured men all are wearing orange jumpsuits. None of the men, however, reveal their nationalities or as to why they were in the region. One of the men does say he worked for the international coalition. The man also claimed he was in ISIS territory to pass on videos and photographs of the living conditions of people living under the Islamic State to their associates in Turkey. They were also told to track the movements of ISIS fighters.
The names of four men have been revealed as 17-year-old Abi Mohamad Abd Al-Ghani, Hael Marwan Abdulrazzaq, who says he is 40 years-old, Faisal Sheikh Ahmed Hamoud, 25, and Omar Hamoud Al-Jafaar, who does not reveal his age.
The name of the fifth individual is not clear. It is also unclear of these are indeed the real names of the prisoners.
In the later part of the video, the ISIS fighter who speaks perfect English mocks british Prime Minister David Cameron. The five men are then shown kneeling in front of five masked ISIS fighters, who are all wearing military fatigues. All of them are armed with pistols. Later, one of the gunman speaks in English. We have reproduced the entire text of the speech below.
“This is a message to David Cameron.
“Oh slave of the White House, oh mule of the Jews, how strange it is that we find ourselves today hearing an insignificant leader like you challenge the might of the Islamic State.
“How strange it is that a leader of a small island threatens us with a handful of planes? One would’ve thought you’d have learned the lessons of your pathetic master in Washington and his failed campaign against the Islamic State. But it seems like you, just like your predecessors Blair and Brown are just as arrogant and foolish. In fact David, you are more of an imbecile, only an imbecile would dare to wage war against a land where the law of Allah reigns supreme under the justice and security of the Sharia.
“Oh British government, oh people of Britain, know that today your citizenship is under our feet and that the Islamic State, our country is here to stay and we will continue to wage jihad, break borders and one day invade your land where we will rule by the Sharia.
“As for those of you who wish to continue fighting under the banner of Cameron on the minimum wage, we say to you to ask yourself, do you really think your government will care about you when you come into our hands? Or will they abandon you as they have abandoned these spies as those who came before them?
“Because you will lose this war as you lost in Iraq and Afghanistan. But this time when you lose, your children will inherit your defeats and remember you as the fools who thought they could fight the Islamic State.”
After these words, all the five men are shot in the head. The men die instantly. At the end of the video, a small child, aged about five, is seen saying pointing his fingers and saying the following.
“We will kill the Kuffar (unbelievers) over there.”
According to experts, ISIS is known to release execution videos when they suffer setbacks on the battlefield. Many believe the video was released in reaction to the news of the fall of the city of Ramadi, which was under the occupation of the Islamic State since May, 2015. Recently, the city was taken over by the Iraqi Army after they drove out ISIS fighters from there in a decisive battle.
