Robert Pattinson And FKA Twigs Still ‘Going Strong’ Ahead Of Wedding, Couple Combats Split Rumors
Robert Pattinson and FKA twigs may have combatted their fair share of breakup rumors in 2015, but it appears the couple’s romance is off to a strong start in the New Year after sources close to Pattinson and twigs continue to speak out against claims suggesting that the duo have called off their upcoming wedding.
Pattinson and twigs’ relationship has been plagued with breakup claims since the couple’s rumored engagement was seemingly confirmed last April, only to be further escalated by reports that claim twigs and Pattinson’s busy work schedules are preventing them from planning their nuptials.
Despite the emergence of old and new breakup rumors, coupled with constant speculation that Pattinson is attempting to reunite with his former Twilight costar and ex-girlfriend, Kristen Stewart, Pattinson and twigs seemingly dispelled the split rumors earlier this week after they were spotted enjoying the holiday season in London.
Gossip Cop reports that Robert Pattinson and FKA twigs were photographed in London this past week after reportedly spending the Christmas holiday together with family, noting that the duo looked to be “very much in love” and “still plan to get married” in the future.

The site also explains that despite “several false stories” alleging that Pattinson is preparing to breakup with twigs, Robert Pattinson and FKA twigs “remain happy” in their relationship and don’t feel pressed to walk down the aisle anytime soon.
The happy photos of the engaged couple come just weeks after new reports surfaced suggesting that Kristen Stewart is “refusing” to work with ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson because of his romance with FKA twigs.
One tabloid rumor surfaced in mid-December, suggesting that Kristen Stewart is vehemently against working alongside Robert Pattinson “ever again” due to the nature of their split and Robert’s current engagement to twigs, noting that Stewart feels her past with Pattinson “took a toll” on her emotionally.
Despite the claims, Gossip Cop reached out to sources close to Stewart and Pattinson regarding the new rumors, prompting the insiders to reveal that the claims are “silly” and “based on nothing.”
While Robert Pattinson and FKA twigs continue to remain mum regarding any progress towards their upcoming wedding, a source close to Robert and FKA previously explained to E! News that the duo doesn’t feel any urgency to tie the knot.
“[Robert and FKA] haven’t drifted apart [despite claims], but they haven’t spoken as much lately because of his filming schedule,” the source explains of the breakup rumors surrounding Pattinson and FKA twigs.
“There most likely won’t be a wedding this year, but that has been the expectation for months,” Pattinson’s source continues, noting that the duo aren’t in “a rush to get married.”
“Fall plans turned into winter plans and now there are no specific plans, but they still plan on getting married.”
Prior to their London outing earlier this week, Robert Pattinson and FKA twigs were spotted at the 8th Annual GO Campaign Gala, where the duo helped to raise awareness and funds for the charitable organization.
Witnesses from the event explained to Us Weekly that the duo seemed very affectionate for the duration of the evening, noting that at one point Pattinson “held her hand tightly underneath the table and they sweetly whispered to each other.”
Similarly, the sources explained that Pattinson was “transfixed” on his fiancée, while FKA twigs performed an acoustic set for guests in attendance at the event.
