Katie Holmes Keeping Commitment to Lifetime Reality Show

Although most celebrities would become hermits, newly single Katie Holmes isn’t going to go into hiding following the media blitz she’s currently enduring since it was announced that the star filed for divorce from husband Tom Cruise. Katie has decided to keep a prior commitment to the Lifetime reality show Project Runway: All Stars.

Holmes made her Project Runway debut this Monday as she walked on set to film her guest spot on the show. Project Runway, which films at Parsons The New School of Design, is located where Holmes has taken residency following her split from Cruise.

Project Runway: All Stars is said to be a spin-off from the original Project Runway, which is hosted by Heidi Klum. The show is set to air its 10th season on July 16th. The season finale of the first season for the new show, which Holmes is set to debut on was held in March, and is currently judged by Angela Lindvall, Georgina Chapman, and Isaac Mizrahi.

Since Holmes’ announcement that she’s divorcing Tom Cruise, the paparazzi has been hot on her trail in New York, where she was photographed this weekend being followed by unmarked SUVs who are said to be part of the church of Scientology. According to some reports, when members of the church leave in an unorthodox way, such as divorce, it usually means permanent separation from family who are still in the church, including children. It is said that because of this Holmes is seeking full custody of Suri, the daughter she shares with Tom Cruise.

Perhaps Holmes, who was once a bona fide star in the 90s is also thinking about her career in addition for the safety of her daughter Suri.
