Chris Brown Accused Of Punching Woman In The Face

Chris Brown is being investigated as part of a battery charge after a woman claimed he punched her in the face at a Las Vegas hotel, according to Hollywood Life.

Brown reportedly became enraged when a female fan named Liziane Gutierrez sneaked her phone into his private party at the Palms Hotel in Las Vegas. Brown was obviously keen to have the antics at his party undocumented and requested a phone and camera ban, but the woman managed to get her phone past security.

Guttierrez whipped the phone out to take a photo of the singer, and that was when he allegedly became enraged and struck her in the right eye, according to TMZ. The incident took place on the night of Saturday, January 2nd.

TMZ has printed the photo of Gutierrez’s alleged injury. The woman’s eye is open and some redness and irritation is visible in the under-eye area.

Strangely, while the article reads that Brown punched the woman in her right eye, it is the left eye that has been shown in the TMZ photograph.

Reporters contacted a rep for the singer, who said that the woman’s claims are “undeniably untrue.” The local police department have not located Brown. Police reportedly went to the singer’s hotel but were not allowed to go to his room.

Police have revealed that the official charges against Chris Brown are theft (for the phone) and battery. This is why some outlets are reporting that Brown “battered and robbed” a woman in Las Vegas.

The woman at the center of the new scandal is said to be a bit of a troublemakerTMZ also reports that she previously “railed on” singer Jason Derulo after the star “ditched her.”

TMZ obtained some video of the woman ranting that Jason had flown her from Vegas to be with him for the night, then for some reason left her unaccompanied. Derulo insiders interviewed by TMZ apparently said that the woman was “delusional” and that Jason Derulo didn’t even know who she was.

It was also TMZ who broke the 2009 story and disturbing photograph of Barbados singer Rihanna after then-lover Chris Brown beat her on the way to an awards ceremony.

Rihanna later told Vanity Fair that she got back with Chris Brown after the incident because she thought of herself as a “guardian angel” to her flawed lover, as reported by Us Magazine.

“I was that girl. That girl who felt that as much pain as this relationship is, maybe some people are built stronger than others. Maybe I’m one of those people built to handle s–t like this. Maybe I’m the person who’s almost the guardian angel to this person, to be there when they’re not strong enough, when they’re not understanding the world, when they just need someone to encourage them in a positive way and say the right thing.”

Chris Brown made a strong musical comeback after the 2009 assault, and last year when he was barred from entering Australia due to the past domestic violence charge, according to the ABC, he made the following statement,

“I would be more than grateful to come to Australia to raise awareness on domestic violence, I am not the pink elephant in the room anymore. My life mistakes should be a wake up call for everyone. Showing the world that mistakes don’t define you. Trying to prevent spousal abuse. The youth don’t listen to parents nor do they listen to PSA’s. The power that we have as entertainers can change lives.”
