Kim Kardashian And Kanye West Retiring To The English Countryside?

World famous Kim Kardashian and husband Kanye West are known for their high dollar, high fashion lifestyle; but, rumor has it the Keeping Up With the Kardashians reality TV stars have turned their sights to the peaceful English countryside.

This is likely one of the last places anyone would expect Kim Kardashian and Kanye to buy their next house, but if the rumors prove true, they not only plan on purchasing a plot of land valued at half a million pounds (nearly $739,000 U.S. dollars), but also making England their main home. After, of course, building a home that is fit for the lifestyle to which Kim Kardashian is accustomed.

Kim Kardashian, and certainly the entire Kardashian clan, have a very close-knit family. It’s hard to imagine that Kim could move her main residence outside of the United States, and so far away from her family. Sure, the Kardashians and the Jenners all have more than enough money to jet to Kim’s place whenever they feel like it, but the days of spontaneous shopping trips and just popping in on Mom or sisters would be a thing of the past.

Let’s face it, though Kim Kardashian’s celebrity status propels her to the top of pedestals the like of which most non-famous people could never attain, underneath it all Kim is just a woman. She is a sister, a daughter, a mom, a wife, and, like all of us, Kim Kardashian deals with real problems and deep emotions. Surely, it would be heartbreaking for her to leave those she depends on the most.

According to the Daily Mail, Kanye understands the Kardashian family dynamic. While he is reportedly very interested in building a manor in the beautiful English countryside, he would never pull Kim completely away from her loved ones, states an unnamed source.

“While he will always have a home in LA – where Kim’s expansive family are based – he likes the idea of having a manor across the pond.”

Apparently, Kim Kardashian West’s husband became interested in the lifestyle of English nobility last year when he spent time at Oxford University and in Somerset, headlining the Glastonbury Festival. This report from the Inquisitr details Kanye’s Glastonbury feat.

The Mirror reports that Kanye is also interviewing fine artists from Amsterdam and Paris in the hopes of commissioning a painting of his family, complete with Kim, daughter North, and baby boy Saint, in a medieval setting, according to an unnamed source.

“Kanye takes his image very seriously and he currently has his sights set on an aristocratic lifestyle. The portrait is all part of his upper-class image. It will probably hang in their home in LA to begin with until the English country home is ready.”

It is also rumored that Kim Kardashian and her husband will be selling the Bel Air home that they’ve renovated to include enough bedrooms and bathrooms for Kim’s Kardashian and Jenner relatives.

Moving so far away may not be devastating for Kim if Kanye includes a wing for the Kardashian mother and sisters. Who knows? Maybe they’ll all move to England.
