Kim Kardashian Reveals Resolutions For 2016 — See Her Goals For The New Year

Kim Kardashian admitted she doesn’t believe in New Year’s resolutions, but that didn’t stop her from setting goals for herself in 2016, E! Online reported on Friday.

Kim set losing weight after giving birth to son Saint West as her top priority, according to a post on her new app. Dropping the baby fat is a goal Kardashian calls the “big one I want to accomplish first!”

In addition to losing weight, Kim wants to focus on other projects in her life. Kardashian put completing construction on her home and posing for “some really cool photo shoots for my Web site” as priorities to complete in the new year. Additionally, Kim Kardashian wants to add new travel opportunities to her 2016 agenda.

“I want to do a couple more fun weekend trips with my Twitter followers that I haven’t met yet. I also want to plan a West family vacation—it’s a project in itself to find the time!”

Kim told readers that she would rather set goals than commit to New Year’s resolutions.

“To be honest, I’m not really into New Year’s resolutions. I’ve done them before, but I don’t believe in them. For some people, they are a good jumping off point, but for me I like to set goals throughout the year. I think setting little goals every month is productive and long-term goals (like saving money or learning a new language) are important, too. But I don’t need a new calendar year to do that. So even though I don’t necessarily believe in the traditional New Year’s resolutions, I do believe in setting goals to keep pushing yourself forward.”

After the post describing her goals for 2016, Kim tweeted one final resolution she wants to commit to for the new year.

Talking about her goals for 2016 gave Kim some good vibes, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star told Twitter followers. Kim even posted a warning, in jest, after talking about her New Year’s resolutions with her Kardashian family members.

Kim has been in the news throughout 2015 for her Instagram account. On it, the model bared her body to dispute pregnancy rumors. Saint West’s arrival also debunked the rumors months later. Kardashian later posted daring photographs of herself to help promote her new website and app.

Kardashian did get herself in a little hot water with the government over her postings, too. Kim posted a picture of a morning medicine, forgetting to include the possible side effects. She later corrected the post, causing controversy over her use of paid advertising to her 56 million followers.

However, Kim doesn’t have to post controversial photographs to garner attention on Instagram. Kardashian posted throwback pictures of her engagement to Kanye West in the fall, scoring millions of likes for the images. Kim also reflected on her and her family’s past and present on Thanksgiving, earning respect and new followers with her honest assessment of 2015.

Other members of the Kardashian family have also dominated news outlets in 2015. Sister Khloe Kardashian had her relationship with estranged husband Lamar Odom aired throughout the year. After a trying 2015, Khloé may be looking forward to a better 2016 with her fantastic new look she showed off in December.

While Kris and Caitlyn Jenner have dominated news stories for months, Kourtney Kardashian recently emerged as a trending topic due to her purported relationship with singer Justin Bieber. The rumors of a relationship with Kourtney began flying shortly after Justin was spotted serenading former ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez at a Beverly Hills hotel bar.

Husband Kanye also made headlines this year, announcing at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards show that he was planning a run for President of the United States in 2020. West became the butt of a few jokes for President Barack Obama, even jabbing a little at the Kardashian family. TV viewers will see Kanye in 2016 on American Idol as the singer surprised judges with an audition earlier this year.
