5 Seconds Of Summer Ring In The New Year, Celebrate Summer Holiday In Bali
5 Seconds of Summer brought down the house on New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest. The Australian boy band took the stage in Hollywood on December 31 to play their new song “Hey Everybody.”
5 Seconds of Summer surprised their fans and their haters when they performed on the New Year’s Eve special. They guys obliviously had a good time with each other as Calum Hood and Luke Hemmings were seen shredding on their guitars. 5SOS also jumped around the stage in an attempt to get the crowd going, which wasn’t hard because they were seen having a good time as well.
According to Hollywood Life, Ashton Irwin, Calum Hood, Luke Hemmings, and Michael Clifford wore vintage band T-shirts with ripped jeans and denim vests. They also hit the stage again later in the evening to perform their hit singles “She’s Kinda Hot” and “She Looks So Perfect.”
Prior to their performance, the boys revealed their New Year’s resolutions during their chat with 93.3 FLZ.
Luke simply said, “Make it better than last year,” while Calum said he hopes to “improve as a musician and a person.”
Michael joked that he wants to “stop being so fat,” while Ashton wants to channel his inner bad boy and learn to ride a motorcycle. Check out 5SOS’ full interview below, where they also talk about party cannons and Calum’s haircut.
The band has also been taking a much-needed break after their first major tour. The five guys headed back to their homeland of Sydney, Australia, not only to celebrate the holidays but to also enjoy the summer holiday Down Under. 5 Seconds of Summer even banded together during their recent trip. The guys were spotted with Victoria’s Secret model Josephine Skriver and Playboy model Bryana Holly, according to the Daily Mail.
The band has desperately been keeping their recent whereabouts a secret from their fans, especially after Ashton Irwin’s home address was posted online by an anonymous fan. But the band has still been seen in a variety of photographs in Bali, as seen in recent photos shared by the models on their own social media accounts. Still, Luke Hemmings took to his Instagram account to share a photo of 5SOS sitting on the edge of a building while looking out the forest below.
The photo was coyly captioned “Luke gone wild” since he was seen flashing the greenery. Then, his model friend Crystal Leigh shared a similar photo of the gorgeous girls looking out to the sea of forest below them. While the models have been sharing their bikini-clad pics, 5SOS had some boy time and even took part in getting pedicures.
Ashton Irwin’s rumored girlfriend, Bryana Holly, took to Snapchat to share a clip of herself with the drummer in the background. 5 Seconds of Summer fans have been getting into a meltdown over the band’s photos of their summer getaway. That’s because one fan showed Luke holding hands with a mystery brunette named Crystal on the beach. The guitarist was previously linked to Arzaylea, who leaked their intimate photos and texts. Although he hasn’t addressed this mini-scandal, it’s clear that he probably didn’t like the fact that she exposed their relationship.
Luke Hemmings was rumored to be dating the social media star earlier this year when they were spotted on a double date with Ashton Irwin and Bryana Holly. Arzaylea also shared a photo of them kissing, which confirmed those dating rumors.
