Harry Styles Solo: Records 4 Songs Without One Direction, Steps Out With Kendall Jenner

Harry Styles is seemingly making an effort to separate himself from One Direction during their extended hiatus. According to recent reports, the singer has already registered four solo songs.

One Direction sent fans into a meltdown when they announced they were taking an extended hiatus after their world tour and latest album, Made In the A.M. The remaining four guys said that they will be working on their own solo projects during the break. Harry Styles is the first (aside from former member Zayn Malik) member of One Direction to start working on his solo career.

The British crooner registered four new songs with the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers, according to E! News. He registered the songs “Already Home,” “Coco,” Endlessly,” and “5378 Miles,” in which he is both co-writer and performer.

In addition to working on solo music, Harry Styles has also been spotted with a new tattoo. He covered up his “things I can” tattoo with a huge eagle on his forearm, as seen in the fan photo below. Back in 2014, Styles was spotted covering up his “things I can’t” tattoo, so it shouldn’t be a shock to his fans.

Harry Styles is also making headlines for his relationship with Kendall Jenner. The two were seen wrestling and cuddling half-naked on a private yacht in St. Barts on Wednesday, Dec. 30. Harry and Kendall put on quite the public display of affection as they were seen laying back in lounge chairs with navy blue beach blankets. Kendall showed off her bikini body in a red bikini top and sexy leopard print bikini bottom, while Harry rocked navy blue trunks and a man bun.

In other photos revealed by the Daily Mail Online, the Jenner teen was also spotted in a bright green bikini with a life preserver vest. Meanwhile, her rumored boyfriend soaked himself underneath an outdoor shower in just his white trunks and sunglasses.

Kendall Jenner and Harry Styles were rumored to have dated back in 2013, when they were spotted in various sightings together. The couple was again spotted in the early parts of 2014, but hasn’t been together like this until recently. It’s also the first time that Kendall and Harry were seen displaying any sort of public display of affection.

An inside source told The Sun (via the Daily Mail) that the reason why Hendall split the first time around was because they were busy with their respective careers.

“Kendall has been focusing on modeling and Harry is preparing for work on the band’s fourth album, as well as their stadium tour. The reality is that with everything they both have going on, it’s impossible to sustain anything serious.”

Now, it looks like both of their careers have winded down, albeit temporary. Styles is on a break from touring and making music, while Jenner is on a break from her modeling career, which will likely start up in February in time for New York Fashion Week. An insider told the Hollywood Life that Styles had plans to woo his former model girlfriend on New Year’s Eve, and judging by the recent pics, it apparently worked.

“It was Harry that wanted to go on this trip. Kendall already had plans to meet up with Cara [Delevingne] in St Barths; it was Harry that joined in after they made their plans. He’s the one following Kendall — not the other way around.”

There are some who question the couple’s relationship. It’s been assumed in the past that Styles and Jenner’s relationship may be for PR purposes, perhaps concocted by Jenner’s momager Kris Jenner. According to Crushable, their recent reunion is a stunt that will give both of the stars more publicity. It kind of makes sense, especially now that Styles is seemingly embarking on his solo career apart from One Direction.

There’s even this old tweet from Holly Scoop claiming that Kendall Jenner and Harry Styles only date for the publicity it brings them.
