Gigi Hadid, a rising supermodel and daughter of Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster, isn’t afraid to flaunt her success in the modeling field. So Gigi headed to social media to post a composition of the magazine covers on which she’s been featured, reported the Daily Mail.
At 20, Hadid has been on major magazine covers such as Vogue, Teen Vogue, and Elle, and Gigi shared the collage along with her thoughts on her achievements in 2015.
“Unreal. Thinking back on my most favorite moments of this year brings me close to tears – both my career and personal journeys throughout seem so surreal in how each change, turn, and decision guided me to where I stand now,” mused Hadid.
In addition, Gigi shared her appreciation to her team and those in the industry who inspired her with their own skills and passion. And Hadid made a point of thanking her fans and followers.
“I love you, and I truly thank you from the bottom of my heart. I know what a huge role you guys play in my success and for that I am forever grateful and humbled,” wrote the young supermodel.
Apparently, Yolanda felt inspired in the same way, because Foster shared an adorable picture of herself with her daughters. The 51-year-old Real Housewives star, Gigi, Anwar, and Bella Hadid all enjoyed a holiday in Aspen, Colorado for Christmas.
“yolandahfoster❤️I love this……. Thank you @Mannadabholkar @gigihadid @bellahadid #GirlPower,” wrote the RHOBH star.
But amid her joy in her daughters and son, Foster has fought a long battle with Lyme disease, at one point thinking she could die, reported Radar Online.
Yolanda underwent a complete body scan which revealed silicone floating in her system, and the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills TV personality was horrified to realize that it could be the cause of some of her symptoms.
“None of these findings changed my late stage Lyme disease diagnosis, but it was a good explanation of why three years of hard work had not paid off yet,” noted Foster in a blog. “It was a big breakthrough in my case at a time that I was just existing.”
In addition, on RHOBH, Yolanda revealed that she felt compelled to talk with her children about her will because she felt that she could die. Foster also created a living will and arranged her finances both for her children and family in Holland.
Despite her documented health struggles, Yolanda’s Lyme disease diagnosis was questioned by Lisa Rinna on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, reported People.
First, Lisa dished about Foster’s health, and then she dished on feeling guilty for what she had said. However, Rinna did have questions about how much Yolanda shared on Instagram about her treatments for Lyme disease as contrasted by photos showing her seemingly in good health on a vacation with her former husband David Foster.
“How is she on a boat?” demanded Lisa. “Why the pictures?” and “What’s her message? What does she want? What does she need?”
Moreover, Rinna brought up the meaning of Munchausen syndrome.
“Those affected feign disease, illness, or psychological trauma to draw attention, sympathy, or reassurance to themselves,” quoted Lisa of a definition.
It was not clear if Rinna was implying that Yolanda has Munchausen syndrome or to indicate that she felt others believed that theory.
However, she’s not the only RHOBH star to question Yolanda’s diagnosis. Taylor Armstrong also probed into whether Foster was telling the truth, and Yolanda responded to Taylor in a blog.
“What I saw on the show tonight was just that: IGNORANCE. Maybe it should anger me, but instead it makes me want to fight harder and speak louder for those whose voices can’t be heard,” wrote Foster. “Those of you who have experienced chronic illness, you know what I’m talking about. What defines suffering? You will never hear someone who’s walked in my shoes speak the way Taylor spoke on tonight’s episode.”
