Demi Lovato Looks Back On 2015 – Her Most Inspiring Twitter Moments

Demi Lovato is celebrating another year gone by on social media.

Demi took to Twitter on December 30 to post a slideshow of some of her biggest and best moments from the year, which included snaps from her completely naked and unretouched photo shoot with Vanity Fair, shots from her “Cool for the Summer” music video and even a few private photos of herself and boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama.

“2015 was pretty amazing. Let’s do this 2016!!!!” Demi captioned the tweet.

Demi has undoubtedly been pretty active on social media in 2015 and has been using her official Twitter account to spread some pretty inspiring messages this past year.

Lovato kicked off the year with an inspiring set of tweets, where she vowed to one day win a Grammy award for her music.

“F*** trying to make music that will appeal to the masses for the sake of hit songs it’s time to share my lane. My sound. Because no one can take away my individuality or copy my best work which my fans deserve to see… It’s here,” Demi wrote in a series of lengthy tweets.

Demi then continued in the series of social media posts, writing, “The changes I’ve made… It’s a new journey… A new chapter in my life and I’m so f****** ready.” Writing this past February, Lovato tagged the post “#2015.”

But it’s not just herself who Demi is helping through social media. Lovato used her Twitter for good when she tweeted out support for those suffering with eating disorders over Thanksgiving.

“For anyone in recovery who gets anxiety about Thanksgiving, just remember.. It’s about giving thanks not just the food,” Lovato tweeted earlier this year alongside the hashtag “#staystrong.”

Lovato took to Twitter again on December 7 to express her sadness over the passing of her former Sonny with a Chance co-star Tiffany Thornton’s husband, where she passed on an inspiring message of hope.

“Sometimes I really don’t understand God’s plan. I guess that’s when you need to trust him the most,” Lovato tweeted following the tragedy. “Life is so short. Love as many people as much as you possibly can. Never take one day or one loved one for granted.”

Also on Lovato’s list of social media good deeds? Body confidence. On December 17, Demi promoted a healthy body image to her more than 32 million followers when she posted a fresh-faced, make-up free selfie, where she revealed that she was “embracing [her] Brady bronzed freckles.”

Lovato has also posted a number of Fresh Faced Friday posts throughout the year, inspiring her legion of fans to embrace their body by posting make-up free selfies to show off their natural beauty.

But while Lovato’s latest slideshow appears to show the star ending 2015 on a major high, both Demi and Wilmer are currently mourning the loss of their much-loved dog, Spawn, who passed away over the weekend.

Lovato shared a snap of the beloved Doberman on her Instagram page earlier this week, writing alongside a sweet photo of herself and the pet.

“I miss you so much already beautiful boy. When I first met you 6 years ago, I was intimidated by your size and your strong presence… But as I got to know you, I learned you were just one big teddy bear,” Demi said, adding that he was “one handsome teddy bear that’s for sure.”

Unfortunately for the couple, Spawn is the second dog Demi and Wilmer lost in 2015. Demi took to social media back in July to reveal that the twosome’s dog Buddy had been killed by wild coyotes this past summer.
