A woman in China has proved the phrase “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned” after she ran over her husband’s mistress and the woman’s 4-year-old daughter, and then stripped naked and laid down in the street to block the ambulance attempting to save their lives.
The woman, Zhang Shih, 38, is from Linyi, Shangdong province in China, according to The New York Daily News, and was so outraged over her husband’s affair, that she hit the woman and her child as they were taking a bike ride on Sunday. The two were apparently fighting over the affair before the incident occurred.
The Huffington Post reports that the mistress’s last name is Wang, and she was riding her bike with her 4-year-old daughter on the back when Zhang hit the two with her car head-on.
The child was unconscious when she was pulled from beneath the car and put into an ambulance. Zhang blocked it from leaving the scene, however, determined to make sure the pair did not receive treatment. She went so far as to strip naked and lay in front of the ambulance, refusing to get up even when police surrounded her drew their guns on her, reports The Huffington Post.
According to Beijing Shots, the young girl died at the hospital, and her mother is listed in critical condition. Shih, who is a professor at the College of Shandong Provincial Medical College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, was described by her students as very normal. They told reporters she taught human anatomy, psychology and psychiatry.
The Huffington Post reports that Zhang will face murder and attempted murder charges and, if convicted, she could be sentenced to death.

Although this situation is incredibly sad and unbelievable, when someone delibertly, knowingly and without any concern interfers or takes liberties with anothers life, love, family they always run the risk of negative and damaging outcomes. There will always be reaction to action. Everyone involved here will have to live their lives, however long that will be, knowing that their actions brought this conclusion. When will people understand how important is is to be selfless, understanding, respectful and compassionate without weekness? I pray for these sad souls.

I am not privy to the details of this relationship gone wrong, so I speak in general about marriages where certain expectations of fidelity are created. I'm not buying this "men get a pass, because that's what they do" lunacy. A real man respects his wife and his marriage and doesn't humiliate his wife. It is more his responsibility to keep his vows than some woman outside the marriage. A wife should hold her husband responsible. To go after the outside party almost recognizes that party as a legitimate rival, when in the case of infidelity, the legitimacy of the marriage should be questioned. If a woman can scare away her rival, the cheating husband can find a new one. Better to find a husband that understands that cheating is not an option. With that being said, a mistress is not in the right; she should have more respect for herself and for others.
Back to the story. I am ultimately horrified that an innocent child died for the selfishness and stupidity of up to three people.

I was furious with my ex husband when I found out about his affair. I felt it necessary not to do to much to him as he was my daughters father and had to deal with him the rest of her life. I on the other hand didn't have to worry about that with the woman and if I had seen her I would have done something pretty drastic as that was the time he left our marriage. I would have not of thought of the consequences only my immediate gratification of her physical pain and her ever lasting pain I would cause as she had done to me and my daughter mentally for the rest of our lives.
