Nick Jonas Hopeful For A New Year’s Kiss
Nick Jonas warmed the hearts of fans everywhere when he and his brothers formed the band The Jonas Brothers. The Jonas Brothers split in 2013, but Nick Jonas has kept on going strong. Daily Mail reports that he just treated his family to a luxury stay in New York City for Christmas, renting J.P. Morgan’s carriage house, which set him back $7,500 per night. Sweet!
The carriage house was built in 1920. It is only 25-feet-wide, but it comes loaded with five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a theater, a small swimming pool, a wine cellar, and a rooftop terrace that is to die for. They brought in a real tree to decorate for Christmas, and it looked fine.
The brothers’ parents joined them for Christmas, and the family even enjoyed a helicopter ride together.
Now that Christmas is over, New Years is fast approaching, and People managed to track Nick Jonas down to ask him about whether or not he expects to get a New Year’s kiss. According to Jonas, he really doesn’t know.
“I don’t know. I’m trying to figure that out myself. Hopefully, we’ll see.”
He might not know if he will get a kiss New Year’s Eve, but he could tell People about his fabulous year in 2015.
“I think it’s been one of the most memorable years of my life, both career-wise and also personally so much has changed, and the world has sort of transformed so dramatically. There’s been some good moments, some bad moments and that’s life. That’s a beautiful thing that you get to ride out that journey with your friends and your family and take it one step at a time.”
Of course, one of those bad moments is when Nick Jonas and Olivia Culpo broke up.

Jonas also talked about his brothers and how his family still means everything to him.
“Our journey is interesting because we were in [The Jonas Brothers band] and then that ended and we all kind of had to learn how to be a family without the business in the middle of it, and that took a minute. It took some learning and a little time to figure out what that dynamic would be like, because for so long it was our life.”
So what will Nick Jonas be up to in 2016? Apparently, he will be going on tour with Demi Lovato and according to Business Standard, he would also like to collaborate with Jessie Ware. The two met at the BRIT Awards this year, and they talked about working together.
“Yeah, Jessie Ware actually. I met her at the BRITs and was already a huge fan of her record and we really hit it off and talked about collaborating on something so I’d love to do that.”

Nick Jonas also said it would be fantastic to collaborate with Prince.
“Prince would be [someone I’d like to work with]. I got to perform with Stevie Wonder at the Grammys with my brothers so that was cool but I think some modern collaborations would be cool.”
And Nick Jonas couldn’t leave out The Weeknd.
“The Weeknd is one I’d love to do and work with him, I feel like we have a lot of similarities in the style of our music but also as people we’re pretty similar so it’d be great to work with him.”
If Nick Jonas is going on tour and manages to hook up with any of these artists to work with them on a project, he will be very busy this coming year. Wishing you luck in 2016, Nick Jonas!
