Is ‘Real Housewives’ Kyle Richards Quitting? Yes, According To Rick Hilton

If you believe Rick Hilton, Kyle Richards has given Bravo her notice because she is so upset that she displeased sister Kathy Hilton by sharing family business on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. But sources close to Kyle Richards and Bravo say that is nonsense, and Richards is standing behind husband Mauricio Umansky and dislikes the behavior of sister Kathy and her family.

According to the Inquisitr, if Kathy Hilton doesn’t like what was said on the recent episodes of RHOBH, she is really going to hate how many family secrets will be shared on Kyle Richards’ television pilot about the Richards family childhoods, where Kyle and her sister Kim supported the family. Kathy had tried to make a living as a child actor, but she was a poor fit. Mauricio Umansky is self-made and is on his way up in real estate, whereas Rick Hilton is simply a supervisor at this point.

TMZ caught up with Rick Hilton at LAX, and he said that Kyle Richards had given notice to quit RHOBH.

“Rick told us Kyle’s upset at Bravo… so upset she’s given notice. Fact is… we’re told Kyle has threatened to quit in the past.”

Sources close to Kyle and Bravo say that Kyle Richards is going nowhere and that since Kathy and Kyle aren’t speaking, Rick Hilton wouldn’t have a clue about what was going on with anyone in Kyle’s family. If the Hiltons don’t accept Mauricio, then they won’t be back with Kyle.

The Daily Mail was also quoting Rick Hilton, who said it was best for the family if Kyle Richards quits RHOBH. Rick’s wife, Kathy, is Kyle’s half sister, and they have fallen out over a business conflict between Rick Hilton and Kyle Richards’ husband. Rick said that Kyle quitting will allow Kathy to speak to Kyle again.

“It’s nice, because there was upsetting things going on, because they were covering my daughter’s wedding,’ he said, adding that the show ‘was taking advantage’. Kyle said she was going to give notice to quit the show because of what they made her (do) with the wedding information in the show. So that was nice of her to do.”

But it seems that this is just one more instance of the Hiltons bullying Kathy’s siblings into doing what they want them to do. Sources say that Kyle Richards has been very happy on RHOBH, has no intention of leaving, and has certainly not given notice to Bravo.

So what is the truth? Until Kyle Richards or Bravo come out with a statement, fans should assume that Kyle Richards is staying put on Real Housewives. Whether or not Richards and Kathy Hilton can patch things up also remains to be seen. They are also trying to mend fences with sister Kim Richards, who is still fighting for her sobriety while airing dirty laundry on a therapy show with her daughter Kimberly Jackson. The only sister who doesn’t seem to have a project right now is Kathy Hilton.
