Niall Horan Gave Selena Gomez A Sexy Christmas Gift, But Are Niall And Selena Really A Serious Couple?
Niall Horan reportedly didn’t spend any money on Selena Gomez’s Christmas gift, but he put plenty of thought into choosing a present that will make his rumored girlfriend miss him whenever they’re forced to spend time apart. Unfortunately for Selena, she’ll probably won’t be seeing much of Niall Horan during the next year or so.
Instead of purchasing a gift for Selena Gomez, Niall Horan allegedly wrapped up one of his old white T-shirts and gave it to her before they went their separate ways over the Christmas holidays. This might not seem like a special gift to some, but the shirt that Niall chose wasn’t just any dingy old rag covered with holes and yellow pit stains – it was his favorite white tee. He sprayed the shirt with his cologne so that Selena can sleep in it, and perhaps Niall Horan is hoping that she’ll have sweet dreams about the time they spent together whenever she wears it.
“Niall told her to wear his shirt whenever she misses him. It’s a super sweet gift,” a source told Hollywood Life.
Selena Gomez might be sleeping in that T-shirt for many lonely nights, because it doesn’t sound like Niall Horan’s plans for the coming year include spending a lot of time with Selena. Niall has revealed that he’s going to make the most of his break from touring the world with One Direction, and some of the singer’s plans may require him to try to hide his identity as one of the biggest pop stars in the world. If Niall Horan is spending lots of time with another major celebrity like Selena Gomez, this will be impossible.
Niall Horan spent years traveling around the world via plane and tour bus, but he never really got to see the sights and experience the cultures of the many countries that One Direction has performed in. Now, Niall is hoping to travel the world like your average young tourist, so he won’t be staying in luxury hotels with massive amounts of security to keep screaming One Direction fans from barging through the doors and harassing him. This is why he’ll likely need to go incognito.
“I’ve spent the past few years of my life in planes and on tour buses, and I’ve been through countries I’ve really loved but haven’t had a chance to really see,” Niall Horan told the Irish Mirror. “I want to go back to Australia and definitely Thailand. With the band, we stayed in luxury hotels, but I want to see these countries like any lad at my age, just staying in hostels and that sort of thing.”
According to RTÉ, Niall Horan has also revealed that he plans on perfecting his golf game during his long break from boy banding, and he’s also hoping to spend plenty of time back home in Ireland.
“I’d love to rent a cottage somewhere in Ireland, or get a caravan,” Niall said. He never said that his plans include spending any time in Los Angeles where his rumored girlfriend lives.
Niall Horan’s plans for the next year or so sound an awful lot like those of a confirmed bachelor who wants to kick back and relax, not those of a man who is head-over-heels in love with a girl who lives on another continent. If Niall was really serious about Selena Gomez, wouldn’t it make sense for him to spend some of his time off visiting her in Los Angeles?
According to People, the last time Niall Horan and Selena Gomez spent time together was during One Direction’s December 13 X Factor UK afterparty in London. Before that, they were spotted kissing at Jenna Dewan-Tatum’s birthday party and enjoying what appeared to be a date at the Santa Monica Pier in Los Angeles. Selena denied that she was dating Niall Horan before she was spotted at One Direction’s X Factor afterparty, but Niall fueled the dating rumors back up by telling The Late Late Show host James Corden that he’d he’d marry Selena Gomez.
Who knows? Maybe Niall Horan will convince Selena Gomez to keep him company when he rents a cottage somewhere in the remote Irish countryside.
