Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Pitt Spent Christmas Holidays In Vietnam

Brad and Angelina Jolie Pitt spent a few relaxing and romantic days in Vietnam over the Christmas holiday period.

While rumors still do the rounds of the supermarket and online tabloids that Brad and Angelina Jolie Pitt are heading to the divorce court, the happily married couple spent a romantic few days in Vietnam recently as a break from Angelina’s filming work in neighboring Cambodia.

As reported by Movie News Guide, the famous couple is currently spending time in Cambodia with the six children, Maddox, 14, Pax, 11, Zahara, 10, Shiloh, 9, and 7-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. This is while Angelina Jolie Pitt films the upcoming movie First They Killed My Father: A Daughter of Cambodia.

The film is based on the memoir by author and human rights activist Loung Ung and tells the tale of the brutal Khmer rouge regime of the 1970s. The plot of the movie covers the experiences of the author, who was a child soldier during the time the Khmer Rouge ruled over Cambodia. In earlier interviews, Jolie Pitt had remarked that the book affected her deeply, inspiring her to make the upcoming movie.

Reportedly, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s son, Maddox, is taking an active part in the production of the film, as it is set in the country where he was born and Angelina said reading the book had made her feel closer to the people of her child’s homeland.

While apparently there was no sign of the couple’s six children this time, Brad and Angelina were then spotted in Vietnam earlier this week and apparently spent three days traveling around the country on a romantic getaway.

Reportedly, the couple was spotted in Halong Bay, a major tourist destination in northern Vietnam, where tourists can take boat trips around the bay with its fascinating limestone rock formations rising out of the water.

According to Business Standard, the couple were seen enjoying a private boat ride and were full of smiles along the way. Later in the day, Brad and Angelina Jolie Pitt spent more adventurous time, kayaking into caves in the area as pictured below and generally enjoying the local scenery.

After their adventure on the water, reportedly the couple returned to Hanoi, where they enjoyed a stay at the luxurious French-built Metropole Hotel, which dates back to the Colonial era. While in the city, Brad and Angelina visited the B52 wreckage in Huu Tiep Lake and also spent time exploring the Old Quarter before heading back to Cambodia.

Reportedly, this romantic getaway is the fourth visit by Brad and Angelina to Vietnam. Their first visit was in 2006, and they returned in 2007 when Angelina Jolie Pitt adopted the couple’s son, Pax. In 2011, the whole family returned to Vietnam with a visit to Con Dao Islands in southern Vietnam.

Meanwhile, even though the couple are seen having romantic moments together, the rumors keep on coming. The Inquisitr recently reported on the latest divorce rumors doing the rounds and which related to a tabloid claiming they had copies of the official divorce papers.

That story turned out to be a bait and switch situation, as the tabloid concerned then revealed on inner pages that said divorce papers related to Brad and Angelina Jolie Pitt’s previous marriage partners.

Other stories relating to Brangelina’s stay in Cambodia during the filming of First They Killed My Father: A Daughter of Cambodia went on to say Angelina Jolie was looking shockingly skinny and “alarmingly frail” while shopping in Cambodia and that she was sporting a brand new tattoo in photos taken of her.
