Lamar Odom Coming Home For Christmas? Plus, Did Khloe Kardashian Just Mention Him On Instagram
Could Lamar Odom be home in time for the Christmas holiday? Earlier this week, Us Weekly hinted that his hospital exit was possible, but so far, he appears to remain under medical care at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in West Hollywood, California, where he’s been since October.
“[Lamar Odom] gets better a little bit every day,” the magazine source explained. “He took a few steps without the walker. It’s very slow and he’s supposed to go to the rehab any day now.”

Lamar Odom was hospitalized on October 13 in Pahrump, Nevada, where he had spent a number of days partying with the women of the legal brothel, and had reportedly used illegal drugs, leading to a horrific overdose, which left him in a coma. Although his organs continued to fail in the days after he was found unconscious, Lamar Odom eventually woke up from his coma, and his organ returned to their normal function. However, his recovery has been ongoing in the months that followed his overdose, and according to reports, he has a long road ahead of him when it comes to a full recovery.
On December 23, the Christian Post revealed a positive update on Lamar Odom, claiming he can now walk unassisted. Another report by the same site on December 23, it was noted that Lamar Odom had recently regained motion of his hands, as well.
Throughout Lamar Odom’s recovery, his wife, Khloe Kardashian, has been at his side, and on Instagram on December 24, she shared the following message with her many fans and followers, which may have had a little something to do with Lamar Odom’s ongoing health battle.
“We can always find something to thank HIM for. ‘But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.’ “
Lamar Odom married the reality star in 2009, but in 2013, she filed for divorce amid rumors of possible drug use and infidelity. However, despite Lamar Odom’s alleged missteps, Kardashian has stood by him, as have his two children, Destiny and Lamar Odom, Jr., and plans to continue to do so as the holidays approach.
“The [Lamar Odom] situation still weighs on Khloé. She’s not one who just walks away. She’s going to be there for him, but she also needs to start focusing back on herself — and she knows that,” a source told People Magazine on December 22.

While Lamar Odom has yet to appear on the currently airing 11th season of Keeping Up With Kardashians, he has been spoken of a number of times. Throughout the season, the family has spoken of Lamar Odom’s impending divorce, as well as his complicated relationship with his estranged wife.
Since Lamar Odom’s hospitalization, there have been a number of reports, claiming his health crisis will be featured as a storyline on the E! Network reality show. There have also been a number of rumors about the family filming at the hospital. But so far, that doesn’t appear to be the case. In addition to Lamar Odom’s overdose having not been spoken of yet, there are also no previews suggesting it will be.
