Dina Manzo Spends Time With Teresa Giudice’s Children Ahead Of Teresa’s Prison Release

Will Dina Manzo be celebrating the holidays with Teresa Giudice? On Sunday, Dina revealed that she spent some time with Teresa’s daughters in New Jersey. Teresa will be released from prison on Wednesday, December 23, just in time to spend Christmas with her family.

Dina starred on The Real Housewives of New Jersey alongside Teresa for its first two seasons. After being away for several seasons, Dina returned to the show as a starring housewife on its sixth season. Unlike many of the other friendships that have been shown on Real Housewives, Dina and Teresa’s friendship has remained strong and steady throughout the years, with no drama ever breaking them apart. Dina is even godmother to Teresa and Joe Giudice’s youngest child, Audriana.

Dina posted a photo of herself snuggling in bed with 6-year-old Audriana. Both are in their pajamas. Dina commented that Audriana is “VERY EXCITED” for Christmas. Audriana is likely very excited for Christmas not simply because of the presents but also because of the fact that her mom will finally be home after entering prison in January.

Dina also posted a photo of Audriana holding a Christmas book. Dina shared that Audriana made a wisecrack about her older sister Milania.

“Story time with Audriana. Her words ‘I still can’t believe Milania made Santa’s good list!’ ?”

Dina now lives in Southern California, but she still has an apartment in New York City. On Saturday, she shared that she’s setting up her Christmas tree in her New York City home.

There has been some speculation that Teresa Giudice’s release from prison and her reunion with her family will be filmed for Season 7 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. If so, maybe viewers will also see Dina Manzo spending time with Teresa now that Dina’s back on the East Coast for the holidays. So far, Dina has not publicly spoken out on her future with the show. Her move to California seems to preclude a starring role on the show, but perhaps viewers will still see her pop up every now and then as a guest?

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Teresa, her husband, Joe, and their four daughters may be spending Christmas Eve at her brother and sister-in-law’s house. Joe and Melissa Gorga are hosting a traditional Feast of the Seven Fishes dinner at their house for the entire family, including the in-laws. Melissa has been quoted as saying that it’s “a blessing” that everyone will be together. Since Season 7 of Real Housewives is filming, the Christmas Eve dinner party may be filmed.

As for Christmas Day itself, Teresa apparently wants it to be a low-key affair. E! News quoted a source as saying that Teresa just wants to spend time with Joe and the girls.

“All Teresa wants is a very low-key Christmas at home with her family. Literally the only thing she cares about is coming home to Joe and the kids.”

Teresa’s return to The Real Housewives of New Jersey has not been officially confirmed. Considering her willingness to film a special interview with Andy Cohen right after her prison sentence was handed down and participation on the Season 6 reunion show, it’s likely that she will return to the spotlight if given the chance. Her family also filmed the spinoff Teresa Checks In, which documented Joe and the girls’ lives without Teresa around and their phone calls with her over the summer.

In September, Andy admitted that he wants Teresa Giudice back on TV after she gets released from prison.

“I’m hoping to get her back in front of the cameras. That’s how I would like to handle it. Yes I’ve been e-mailing with her a lot and she seems to be doing well.”
