Dwayne Johnson Shares Adorable Pic Of His Newborn Daughter, Jasmine
Actor Dwayne Johnson shared a heartwarming photo of himself and his newborn daughter, Jasmine, on Instagram Sunday.
As seen in the picture, the professional wrestler-turned-movie star is holding his newborn child on his tattooed chest. Perhaps the biggest highlight of this particular Instagram post was the caption that went along with it.
Dwayne Johnson (aka “The Rock”) shared a lengthy caption filled with heartwarming sentiment and an inspirational message to his followers. Beginning his message with the comment “Christmas came early,” the San Andreas star mentioned that young Jasmine was laying on her father’s chest within minutes of being welcomed into the world.
Johnson also used his photo caption to thank the numerous fans and followers that congratulated him on the birth of his first child with Lauren Hashian — claiming that “being a grateful man takes on a whole new meaning.”

Dwayne later explained the single wish that he asked the universe, during the “cool and powerful skin to skin bonding moment” shared between father and daughter in this adorable picture.
“Give me the strength to be a better man today than I was yesterday. If I can accomplish that, then I’d have a good shot at being a great father.”
The 43-year-old father-of-two then focused on providing quality advice and guidance to men that are thinking about becoming fathers themselves one day, encouraging them to strive to achieve the goal of “being better.” His second dose of advice encouraged men to enjoy “walking thru the fire” right alongside the mothers of their children, sharing exactly how he was able to do just that when Lauren was in labor.
“I was right there during labor, helping her breathe, every highly intense contraction, every second of pain, right there watching the actual birth, cutting the cord and wiping the tears. Incredible. (Now don’t get me wrong boys, it wasn’t like I was at the end of the table, squatting like a catcher waiting for the fastball to come down the pike… but as men, it’s a miracle we should witness because it’ll give you a whole new respect for the strength and beauty of a woman).”
Dwayne concluded his caption by thanking his fans yet again, referring to himself as a “lucky dude” due to having the greatest fans in the world.
Last month, Dwayne Johnson first shared the news that he and Lauren were expecting a baby girl on Instagram as well. The Furious 7 actor was pictured holding Lauren’s stomach with one hand while taking the picture with his phone in the other hand.
Within that particular caption, Dwayne’s message was much shorter, but still profound in its own way. He simply mentioned that he was “raised by and live with amazing and strong women so the universe felt we needed one more.”
This is definitely not a surprising topic for Dwayne’s longtime followers and fans since he has talked about the strong women in his life (including his mother) in numerous social media posts and interviews over the years.
Dwayne Johnson and Lauren Hashian first met back in 2006 when the actor was filming The Game Plan.
According to Hollywood Life, they reportedly started dating after Dwayne split from his wife of 10 years, Dany Garcia.

During their marriage, Dwayne and Dany welcomed 14-year-old Simone Alexandra into the world back in August of 2001. Within the caption of his Instagram picture of young Jasmine, Dwayne Johnson used a hashtag to refer himself as a two-time “proud papa silverback.”
