Miranda Lambert Not ‘Hunting’ For A New Relationship After Blake Shelton Split, Despite Rumors

Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton may have called off their four-year marriage just months ago, but that doesn’t mean Miranda is currently “hunting” for a new relationship.

While Blake Shelton continues to make headlines for his budding relationship with fellow The Voice coach Gwen Stefani, new rumors surfaced earlier this week suggesting that Miranda’s close friends are desperate to find her a new man in order to help her “forget about Blake Shelton.”

The tabloid rumors, which have since been debunked by Gossip Cop, alleges that Miranda’s friends Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman are “on a mission” to set Miranda Lambert up with a new love interest given the attention surrounding Blake and Gwen’s whirlwind romance.

An alleged “source” close to Lambert argues that Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman are “eager” to get Miranda back into the dating scene because they “want to see Miranda smile once again,” noting that the couple knew Lambert and Shelton when they “were happy together.”

The source concludes the report by alleging that Urban and Kidman are “hunting” for a new man for Miranda among their close friends, noting that the duo have received “plenty of yeses” from eligible bachelors who are interested in dating Miranda Lambert.

Despite the claims, a rep for Miranda Lambert spoke out against the rumors by insisting that there is “no truth” to the claims that Miranda is actively seeking a new relationship since splitting from Blake Shelton and denies that Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman are playing matchmaker for the country singer.

In fact, Miranda personally spoke out against the dating claims in her recent cover story interview with Cosmopolitan for the magazine’s January issue, in which she explains that marriage is “completely not on my radar” at the moment.

“We were together for 10 years, married for four, were very quickly divorced, and are friends,” Miranda Lambert explains of her relationship with Blake Shelton following their divorce.

“I’m still processing everything and figuring out where to go and what happened. [Marriage is] a tough business, and we gave it our best college try … If I ever were to get married again — which is completely not on my radar at all right now — I feel like it’s not about it being a step in life,” Miranda explains, “It’s not about a piece of paper or a diamond. It’s the way you feel about somebody and the commitment in your heart.”

While Miranda Lambert is currently rumored to be dating Sam Hunt following her breakup with Blake, neither Miranda’s rep nor sources close to Lambert have confirmed the dating speculation.

In addition, while tabloid reports continue to suggest that Miranda is furious over how swiftly Blake moved on from their marriage to his new relationship with Gwen Stefani, sources close to Lambert recently shut down the claims by explaining that Miranda is “not surprised” by the duo’s romance.

“Miranda is at a point in her life where she is really focusing on herself and her music,” a source close to Lambert revealed to E! News. “This is a new chapter for her to create new relationships and really move on. Miranda has been going through many personal changes over the past few months, but it’s all for the better.”

As for Blake and Gwen’s relationship, “She was not surprised to hear of the romance between Blake and Gwen. They were always pretty flirty. Miranda and Blake were on the rocks on and off and knew that this could always be a possibility.”

Currently, Miranda Lambert is gearing up for her 2016 tour with Kenney Chesney and Sam Hunt which kicks off in April.
