Man Charged for Stealing False Teeth, Right out of his victim’s mouths, twice

Henry Stahl from Muncie, Indiana, has been charged for the second time in 7 months for misdemeanor assault, for stealing his victim’s false teeth right out of their mouths.

Judge Bill Bruns of the Muncie City Court found the 64 year old Stahl, a former bar owner and one-time candidate for Delaware County sheriff, guilty of a Class A misdemeanor which carries a maximum one-year jail term.

The latest victim, 50 year old Robert E. Hollars, told police he was attacked by Stahl in September of 2008 after the two argued outside Hollars home:

“Stahl then ran up to me while my wife and I were sitting on our motorcycle,” Hollars would tell Yorktown police. “Stahl then grabbed my head, and was trying to jam his thumb into my mouth with his other hand on the other side of my mouth trying to get my mouth open, telling me to give him my (expletive) teeth.”

Hollars said Stahl pryed his mouth open and pulled out a partial dental plate. During the scuffle, the expensive dental plate was broken and 3 of Hollars natural teeth were also damaged.

Stahl’s previous false teeth related arrest was due to an almost identical incident where he and another man were fighting in an alley. Stahl punched the man and put him in a headlock, then pulled out the man’s dentures and walked away, telling him “You ain’t getting these back.”
