Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton Take Very Serious Step, But Blake Is Photographed Holding Hands With Someone Else During Date With Gwen

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are speeding up their month-and-a-half-long romance just in time for the holidays. According to recent reports, the cowboy and the Cali girl have already met each others folks, and Gwen is now comfortable taking her youngest son with her whenever she and Blake enjoy a casual lunch date. However, during their most recent outing, Blake Shelton held hands with someone who wasn’t Gwen Stefani.

According to People, Gwen Stefani met Blake Shelton’s mother during a recent visit to Blake’s home in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, and there’s photographic evidence that Blake is already getting along great with Gwen’s dad. ETonline shared a few photos of Blake Shelton trying to score some brownie points with his girlfriend’s Pops by helping him load a very large box into the back of a van.

Gwen Stefani’s dad and her new beau got to know each other a bit better when Blake headed to Westlake, California to visit Gwen’s family on Thursday morning. According to an eyewitness, Blake Shelton and Dennis Stefani’s bonding session was going extremely well. The guys reportedly looked like they were having a good time together, and they chatted for about 45 minutes after they were finished filling up the back of a van with cardboard boxes. There’s high likelihood that they contained Christmas gifts.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Gwen Stefani took advantage of Blake Shelton being busy with her dad by doing a little Christmas shopping of her own. She headed to the Country General Store in Van Nuys to buy some western wear, and she was photographed purchasing a few men’s western shirts that might be Christmas gifts for Blake. Unfortunately, the paparazzi ruined her holiday surprise by photographing her purchases.

Gwen Stefani is also gearing up for the holidays by making sure that her sons are comfortable being around her new boyfriend. According to the Daily Mail, Gwen’s youngest son, 22-month-old Apollo, got to know his mother’s beau better during a Thursday afternoon outing in Studio City. After Gwen and Blake finished their Christmas chores, they met up at Loteria Grill for lunch. Gwen had adorable Apollo in tow, and a very relaxed-looking Blake was photographed beaming at his girlfriend and her toddler son.

Blake Shelton avoided any physical contact with Gwen while she was holding her young son, but he was photographed looking rather affectionate with someone else. Radar Online shared a photo of a grinning Blake holding hands with a man during his date with Gwen. The mischievous country singer was likely trying to mess with the pesky paparazzi, who were swarming around in hopes that they would score a shot of Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton holding hands. Instead, the photogs managed to snap a few blurry pictures of Blake holding hands with Gwen’s chauffeur.

While Gwen Stefani is obviously okay with her kids spending time with Blake Shelton, she might not invite the cowboy over to watch her sons unwrap their presents on Christmas morning. A source told E! News that Gwen and Blake are planning on spending some time together during the holidays, but they might spend at least part of Christmas apart for the sake of Gwen’s three sons. Gwen is actually considering spending Christmas morning with her kids and their father, rocker Gavin Rossdale.

“It’s very likely they will be together for some parts of it, but Gwen still wants to have the holidays as normal as possible because of her kids,” a source told E! News.

“Gwen may do a more traditional holiday with Gavin when their kids open up the presents, but it’s clear to her children they are not with each other in any romantic capacity.”

Gwen Stefani allegedly decided to divorce her husband of 13 years earlier this year after she discovered that he was cheating on her with their kids’ nanny, Mindy Mann. There’s no doubt that Gwen would rather spend Christmas Day with Blake Shelton this year, but she probably wants to give her kids the gift of one more Christmas with both of their parents. Perhaps she and Blake will get to spend the holiday together next year.
