I enjoy Apple products as much as the next guy, but sometimes I have to admit that I do occasionally feel like this is how their brainstorming sessions go.

    That may be true, but a lot of online artists aren't exactly fond of having their work reposted on another site without permission or a link back to the original artwork.

    This is just dumb. they already had a high res screen the Macbook pro with Retina display is new in more ways than just the screen.

    That is how they do it, and it is why they are slowly bankrupting me as I buy every last iterative Apple product, handing one generation down to my kids after the next! Stop it, Apple!

    You probably feel like they should always produce revolutionary products, because you probably buy into the image of themselves which they've sold to you.

    Yeah I love the iTouch products rather than Macs, but I can't help feeling like all they do is make the screen look nicer with the iPods and iPads, and change the shape/resolution on iPhones. Yeah, they're faster, but not many people go "OH my GOD look at the high resolution on this! And this iPad is 2.3x faster than the last one! Wow!"

    Don't they? Remember there have only ever been 3 iPads, it went introductory -> slimmer, lighter, faster, cameras –> faster, better screen, better camera, LTE. And the Phones went introductory –> 3G, app store, cheaper, GPS –> Better camera, faster, more storage, oleophobic –> faster, retina display, 802.11 n (admittedly most people won't care about that), better camera, front facing camera, HD video, better battery, improved antennas –> Faster, more storage,, better camera, 1080p video. A lot of incremental updates more than changing the shape and the resolution, and they all add up, especially when you take into account the new software stuff. You only really appreciate it when you go back to using an older phone.
